Ashera giggled again and gave the young Dragon a hug, holding her close. "Hey… How do pancakes sound for breakfast?" she asked since they were both much more awake now.
Ashera giggled again and gave the young Dragon a hug, holding her close. "Hey… How do pancakes sound for breakfast?" she asked since they were both much more awake now.
"Sound good to me," Asa said. She hugged Ashera back, grinning.
"Ok." Ashera smiled warmly back and started to sit up, though she was a little reluctant to let go of her cuddly friend.
Asa didn't want Ashera to let go either. Instead, she shifted so it was easier for Ashera to hold her in Ashera's hands.
"Hope you don't mind," Asa said shyly.
"Not at all." Ashera smiled brightly, adjusting her hold as Asa moved. She couldn't help a small laugh at the random thought that came to her mind as they exited the room.
Asa looked up at Ashera.
"What's so funny?" She asked sincerely.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Ashera giggled again. "It's just the thought that one day you'll be big and strong enough to carry me instead." she answered, looking sweetly down at her.
Asa giggled a little at that too.
"Some day," Asa agreed.
Ashera smiled at hearing Asa laugh with her and nodded, heading down the stairs.
Asa current curled up again, humming with satisfaction.
Ashera gave a few more gentle pets as the entered the kitchen. ”Unfortunately, I think I have to put you down now, so I can cook.” she smiled softly.
Asa pouted a bit, but she jumped down from Ashera's arms. Just to make things easier, she went to her human form.
Ashera giggled a little at the cute pout and quickly kissed Asa’s cheek before gathering the right ingredients.
Asa blushed a little, sitting down at the table.
Ashera started humming a little as she started mixing everything into the batter.
Asa watched Ashera cook, grinning a little.
Ashera glanced over her shoulder and smiled at Asa. ”Do you want anything special in your breakfast?”
Asa shook her head.
"Anything you make will be delicious!"
”Thank you. That's sweet of you to say.” Ashera turned back to her cooking to hide her blush.
Asa grinned, flicking the tip of her tail.
"You're welcome!"
(Sorry for the late reply. My job started back up so I, unfortunately, won't be able to get on as much as I would like…)
Ashera started humming again as she flipped the first batch.
(it's okay. Good luck at work!)
Asa watched Ashera cook, smiling brightly.
(Thanks!)
Ashera ended up making five pancakes for each of them. She grabbed the maple syrup, a jar of honey and a small bowl of berries for the table before sitting down with Asa.
Asa smiled brightly.
"Looks delish!"
”Thank you. I hope you like it.” Ashera smiled, a tiny bit nervous. ”It’s my own recipe.”
