Ashera hummed thoughtfully for a moment before shrugging. ”I can't think of anything interesting or important right now.” she told her. ”But if you think of anything you want to know about me, I won't be offended if you ask.”
"Okay then," Asa said with a smile. She snuggled down, so relaxed.
Ashera smiled back and continued to pet the young Dragon in her lap. She looked so comfortable and happy, the Fae girl didn't want to move.
Ashera had Asa so calm, the 'tiny' dragon just… Fell asleep.
She had to bite her lip to keep from laughing as she noticed her friend was sleep. Moving careful, to not wake Asa, she carried her upstairs and tucked her in bed. I doubt she was lying but… If Asa was telling the truth, then she wouldn't mind if… we continue to… share?
Asa shifted as she was lifted, snuggling then on the bed. She looked really content.
Ashera smiled at the adorable sight and placed a light kiss to the top of Asa’s head before leaving the room to clean up the kitchen.
Asa snuggled down even more, but her eyes opened when she felt the cold around her. She wasn't on Ashera's lap anymore, but she was on Ashera's bed. Did that mean they could still share? Asa hoped so.
Ashera put away the leftover food and set the dishes in the sink. She could clean them in the morning. It wasn't really late yet but it had been a long… eventful day, she decided as she headed back up to bed.
Asa looked up without moving her head when Ashera came in, smiling sleepily. She hummed a little to herself, shifting to be more comfortable on the bed.
Ashera smiled softly as she entered the room and saw Asa awake. ”Hey, sleepyhead.” she teased, walking over to sit near her.
Asa mumbled a bit in response, flipping her head to look over at Ashera. Well, that's what she had intended. Her head ended up resting on Ashera's leg.
"Not my fault, imma baby," she said, more intelligibly.
Ashera chuckled a little at the reply… and Asa leaning against her leg. ”I know.” she said, starting to pet her again. ”I was actually coming back to join you. It's been a long day, for both of us and… I was wondering, well,” she paused to clear her throat. ”You said that everything you did before, you would have done the same thing if you didn't have to hide, so I was hoping that we could continue to share my bed.”
Asa hummed a bit at the petting. She looked up, giving Ashera a smile.
"I'd really prefer that. I'm not very good with sleeping alone…"
Ashera smiled, a little relieved at the answer and nodded. ”Ok. I’ll be right back then. I’m just going get changed.” she said, carefully moving to stand up.
Asa let her head fall to the bed, nodding a little.
"Okay then…" She closed her eyes, trying not to fall asleep before Ashera came back.
Ashera smiled at the sleepy Dragon and silently grabbed her nightgown and headed to the bathroom, where she quickly changed. After she brushed her hair, she crept back towards the bed.
Asa looked up when Ashera came back, shuffling a bit to make room for Ashera.
Ashera smiled softly as she laid down, curling around Asa. ”Sleep well, my friend.”
"You too," Asa mumbled. She snuggled closer, already almost asleep. She'd never slept well alone.
Ashera gave a small smile as she closed her eyes and cuddled against Asa. Unlike her friend, the Fae had no trouble sleeping alone… but she was glad to share with the young Dragon. It was very nice.
Eventually, Asa feel completely asleep, cuddled close. She was happy.
Ashera fell asleep soon after, enjoying the warmth of sleeping with another.
Asa woke up first in the morning, yawning. She just snuggled closer to Ashera, not wanting to get up.
Ashera shifted slightly, holding Asa more like a teddy bear as she wasn't quite ready to wake up yet.
