Maybe this won’t be too bad. she thought to herself, closing her eyes and relaxing completely once more. She felt safe at least. Here she wasn’t going to be yelled at… “the sky is beautiful.”
Maybe this won’t be too bad. she thought to herself, closing her eyes and relaxing completely once more. She felt safe at least. Here she wasn’t going to be yelled at… “the sky is beautiful.”
He nodded. "It is. That's one reason I picked this house. It's far enough from the city that the stars are easy to see." He agreed and explained.
“I love it. I might have to come out here to paint it…” she murmured, staring st the sky before her eyes. She glanced at the reflection and hummed. “It’s beautiful….”
He smiled and nodded. "You're welcome to anytime you want." He told her. He wanted to give her as much freedom as possible. Even if she didn't love him and he didn't love her, he wanted her to feel like she wasn't entirely trapped.
She laughed softly at her own excitement. “I’m so childish… the sky makes me happy.” She hummed happily and kicked her feet out. “It’s so pretty!”
Asher smiled slightly, then yawned again, standing. Water clung to his well defined chest as he grabbed his towel and got out. "I'm heading inside. Let me know when you're done so I can put the cover back on." He said, looking at her.
She stared. She didn’t mean to but, well, to say he was attractive was an understatement. “O-oh, ok, I’ll Be in here for a little bit longer… if you need me, I’ll be here.” She said softly, looking away in embarrassment.
Asher gave a small smile. "Alright." He replied, draping the towel around his shoulders, and starting to walk away. He went inside, then went up to the bedroom, changing into his pajamas.
She laid back into the hot tub with a loud groan. She needed this moment to herself. To just lay back and relax. The sound of the water bubbling around her was soothing. As was the cold air against her cheeks.
Asher finished putting his pajamas on, and went downstairs, into the room that might work for an art studio for Arabella. It was a medium sized room, white, blank walls, and big picture windows.
Soon the small female was exiting the hot tub, her pale, thin body glistening in the light of the house. She yawned softly, grabbing her towel and shirt and throwing them both on. She felt good, much more relaxed. Once inside she looked around, glancing at her painting and sighing.
Asher smiled slightly as he opened the rooms curtains. The room was so empty and blank, it would be interesting to see what Arabella did with it.
She moved to the bedroom and pulled her hair back, slipping on a new night gown and humming softly as she walked around, trying to find Asher. “Hello? Asher?”
"In here!" Asher called, walking to the door of the room. He hoped she would like it. If she didn't, that was fine. There were other rooms, and an area could always be built, too.
She followed his voice and smiled when she caught sight of her fae husband. She made her way to him and tilted her head. “I’m out and I can help you cover the hot tub.” She said with a giddy smile.
Asher nodded. He was in his pajamas, barefoot. "Alright. This is the room I was thinking you could use for your art studio, by the way." He shifted so he wasn't blocking the door way, gesturing at the room. The walls were white, with a hardwood floor, and big picture windows, floor to ceiling, along one and a half walls.
She skittered into the room like an excited puppy and beamed. “Oh it’s perfect!!” She cried out, looking around with bright, happy eyes. “Am I allowed to paint the walls?” She asked him with bright, curious eyes as she wandered around the room, staring at the big windows and giggling.
He nodded. "Yeah. You can do anything you want to this room except knock down the walls." He said with a soft chuckle. "Paint them, paint the floor, the ceiling, I don't care." He smiled slightly, watching her and leaning on the doorframe slightly.
She spun around in a circle, biting her lip as she thought of everything she could do. “Oh this is wonderful! I can’t wait! It’s so perfect and pretty!” She praised, twirling once more before she turned to look at him, grinning from ear to ear.
He smiled. "You're welcome." He said, something heavy and aching settling in his chest. She looked so happy…so happy. She never looked like this. And he had known she wasn't happy, but…if this was what she looked like when she was…God, how miserable was she?
She smiled and settled in the middle of the room, plopping down. She couldn’t handle the overload of happiness she had just experienced. It was too much after being so miserable. She hummed happily. “Want to join me? The floor is very nice.” She said with a giggle and a bright, genuine smile. It had been a long time since she had smiled truly.
Asher gave a small smile, pushing off the wall, and sat down beside her. "If you say so." He shifted slightly to get comfortable, and have her a small smile. She really has been miserable…I didn't even realize how miserable she was… He thought.
She looked around the room again and beamed slightly. “I love it… thank you, Asher. It’s going to be so fun to paint in here.” She pointed at the ceiling. “I might even paint that… I might make it stars and such…”
He smiled. "You can paint whatever you want in here." He said. "I can help move things in here tomorrow, if you want." He looked over at her.
(So how do we want to do this? Do we want like… sweet and fluffy where they slowly fall in love, or do we want angsty pining and drama? i would prefer angsty drama and pining but it's up to you)
She nodded softly and hummed, closing her eyes as she thought over everything she could do. “Thank you again Asher. I can’t thank you enough.”
(I want angst and drama too xD but we can sprinkle in little cute moments too. Arabella is pretty moody and her thoughts change fast. One moment she’ll be thanking him and happy and the next she’ll be cursing his life and scowling.)
