He grumbled under his breath, and sat down on the toilet lid in the bathroom. "There. That work?" He asked tiredly, looking at her with an eyebrow raised and his hair sticking up in messy tufts.
He grumbled under his breath, and sat down on the toilet lid in the bathroom. "There. That work?" He asked tiredly, looking at her with an eyebrow raised and his hair sticking up in messy tufts.
She nodded and wet the brush, smiling gently as she began to try and fix his hair. “How are you? Still tired?”
He nodded. "I'll get coffee and be fine." He replied with a slight shrug. "You?" He closed his eyes with a soft hum. It had been…a very long time since anyone had done something like this for him.
She continued with a hum, smiling brightly at him. “I’ll be ok. I’m still a bit tired but I’m in a better mood.” She frowned when his hair refused to cooperate with her. “Do you have gel?” She asked him softly, playing with a few fluffy strands.
He nodded. "Okay. Yes, i do." He pointed to the cupboards over the sink. "Right there." He said. "In the left door, middle."
Arabella moves swiftly. The gel was soon open in her hands and she was using it on his hair. “It’s fluffy… and soft.” She commented, laying his hair flat and smiling.
Asher sighed. "Uhm. Thanks?" He replied slowly, chuckling quietly. He looked up at her with his eyes, not moving his head.
She laughed softly and looked down at him after she finished. "There you go, Asher." She murmured, sighing softly and leaning back against the counter. "I still want to see your office. Even if it's not that interesting. You've seen all of my spaces."
Asher sighed. "Thanks. Okay." He said, standing. "You can see it. Get dressed, have some breakfast, and we'll go." He replied. "I'm going to get breakfast while you dress, okay?" He gave her a small smile.
She smiled back and nodded, stretching her arms and yawning. “Okay!” She beamed and trotted into the bedroom to dress herself.
He went down to the kitchen, and got food. He served himself a bowl of cereal, and started eating, after starting coffee to drink after the cereal.
Arabella had dressed a little too quickly. She was still buttoning up her shirt as she wandered into the kitchen, her smile bright and slightly contagious. “What are you having?”
He glanced up, and nearly spit out the cereal as he noticed her buttoning her shirt still. "Cereal." He said, looking away. "Uhm. Coffe is almost ready."
She tilted her head as she watched him, wondering momentarily what was up with him. She hummed and shrugged, stretching out her arms once her shirt was buttoned. “That sounds good right now.”
"What, the coffee? Or the cereal?" He shrugged slightly. "Cereal is on the counter there, milk is in the fridge. Coffee is in the coffeepot. I wouldn't suggest combining your cereal and coffee in the same dish."
“Coffee.” She replied, laughing softly. She passed him and grabbed a mug from the cupboard, rolling her eyes. “I don’t know, it would make breakfast and the mornings a lot easier. Do we have cream for the coffee?”
He nodded. "Cream is in the fridge." He replied, gesturing. He finished his cereal, and put it away.
She hurried to grab it, pouring quite a good amount in her coffee. She liked sweet things. She loved hot chocolate for that reason and so she definitely wanted a sweeter coffee.
Once she was done, he poured himself a cup of coffee, then added a bit of cream, taking a sip. "Anything else you want?" He asked her, raising an eyebrow slightly.
She shook her head cutely and brought the mug to her lips. “No. I’m good now.” She smiled at him and sipped at her coffee with a soft sigh. “When are we leaving?”
He smiled. "Whenever you're ready to go." He replied with a shrug. He was leaning against the counter, sipping on his coffee.
Arabella nodded softly, downing her coffee quickly. She sighed deeply and smiled up at him. “I’m ready whenever you are.”
He finished his coffee, and nodded. "Alright. Come on, then." He headed towards the car after setting his mug by the sink. "Although I did warn you that my office is boring, before we arrive. It isnt fun and exciting."
“I still want to see it, Asher.” She defended, placing her own mug in the sink and trailing after him. “Are you afraid I won’t like it?” Arabella dared to ask, her eyes narrowing.
He chuckled. "Yes." He replied dryly. "And then you'll be bored to tears once I start working on emails and the like." He smirked at her for a moment, slipping on his shoes to walk outside.
