Alena shrugs. "Trees have a way of whispering." She was talking in riddles

"And I hate riddles so please talk in English, not riddles," Kelton replied.

"Riddles? Well…riddle me this? Why are two hybrids dogging on their own kind?"

Jordan was now soaking in the pond. He didnt care that he was alone and the water was probably radioactive.

"It's because those two hybrids want to see what the hell was going on."

before Avery went back into the house he walked over to Jordan "i dont think i ever got your name"

Alena hisses, jumping back onto the tree. "Hybrids don't turn their backs on those in need"

"Who said we turned our backs on you guys?" Kelton asked.

Jordan raises his head, "Jordan. And You?"

"Sounds like you want to leave" She says, before she disappears in the shadows of the trees, only her eyes showing.

"Avery. so, your from Hawaii?"

Alena shows her face again. "Are you staying or leaivng."

Jordan nods with a sigh, "Yep. Sadly."

"Staying, unless Tao wants to leave." Kelton answered.

Marcus walks over and sits under a tree that was right on the edge of the pond. He starts messing around with the water in his hands and listens to Jordan and Avery.

Alena sits next to Marcus, having left Tae and Kelton. "So…water?"

"So… WHere do you come from then?" He eyes the hyena and bird mix

"Italy." he says his eyes looking sad "The first country to ban hybrids, any hybrids left in Italy were sent to labs to be tested on"

“Why am I making the decisions? You know that’s always a bad idea,” Tao asked.

"Oooh" Jordan nods, "Oh ok. I was just wonder."

"You're at least better at making decisions than me." Kelton answered.

Marcus looks up at Alena and nods. "Water nymph, remember? I-I mean, not all of us can do this, but it's kind of a given." He subconsciously sticks his tongue out a bit as he focuses on making a shape with the water.

"yeah, it was such a beautiful place" he stares longingly into the distance
