(Yeah, I kind of agree. What do you think we can do to help it?)
(Yeah, I kind of agree. What do you think we can do to help it?)
(I dunno. I was going to suggest leave the idea, start back in the morning and come back to it later in the story. (
(Yeah, that could work, ig)
(Do you have any ideas?(
(Hey, sorry I haven’t responded. I have been very busy preparing for the ACT so i haven’t been on at all. And um, i guess we can just open when Corbin comes back home after its safe?)
(It's ok. So we are going through the demon part?)
(Yeah, ig we can do that)
(Well if you want to start again at your idea we can.)
(Alright, i will)
After Furfur had given the okay, Corbin had packed his things up into the truck, taking Orion back home. He found himself speeding as his eyes would droop in the slightest at times. He was tired. He hadn’t slept at all in the church, being too nervous about Matrix. He pulled up to the house, grabbing his rifle from the back and letting Orion out. He went to the door, his limp heavy as his leg ached, and he opened the door warily.
Matrix was sprawled on his stomach across the couch. He was singed, burned and bloody. He was breathing heavily as if he had just run a marathon. He was in his over large demon form and so his feet and head almost touch the ground.
Corbin stepped inside, Orion bolting into the living room. The dog whined as he sniffed at Matrix. Corbin went into the other room, and saw Matrix, eyes widening. “Matrix?!” he exclaimed, hurrying over.
"Huh?! What?!" He jerks his head up, knocking over a lamp stand with his one horn. His other horn had grown out slightly so it was now half the length of the other. (His demon form does that. It 'heals')
Corbin put his hands up, setting the rifle aside. “Hey, it’s okay. I’m here, it’s okay,” he said quickly, he crouched by the couch to be more level with Matrix’s face.
Matrix narrows his eyes for them to focus(I forgot he goes blind sometimes), "Are you ok?"
Corbin nodded his head quickly. “I’m alright, yeah. How are you still alive?” He breathed. Matrix’s wounds looked terrible.
"That. Is a good question. I guess Dad has a bit of sympathy. At least for his son." He sighs, wincing as he got up on his hands and knees
(hi hi, again w the busyness. i should be on more now on, though)
Corbin rested a hand on Matrix’s shoulder. “Moving more not be the best idea,” he said quickly. “Lay back down, Matrix,” he said, a slight pleading look in his eyes. “Or at least let me take you to my room to lay down.”
(It's ok. You're fine.)
He sighs, shaking his head, "I'm fine, Corbin. Really. Are you ok? Are you sure?"
“Matrix, I’m serious,” Corbin snapped, having to take on the harsher tone to see if he could get Matrix to listen. “And I’m fine. Just sore from sleeping in a damn church.”
"It was for your safety. You'll thank me later " he stands, wincing and falling sideways.
Corbin quickly grabbed onto Matrix to keep him from falling too hard. “Go lay down,” he said sternly.
"No. I am fine. Where's Orion?" He looks around
“He’s in the kitchen,” Corbin sighed. “You’re too stubborn. It stresses me out,” he mumbled.
"Why do you always worry?" He hisses, trying to stand again as he shrank about an inch.
“Because I care about you,” Corbin huffed sharply, rolling his eyes a little bit as he crossed his arms over his chest, glancing away.
