Orion ran out the door and into the yard when it was opened. “Do you want me to make you anything to eat?” Corbin asked from the kitchen.
Orion ran out the door and into the yard when it was opened. “Do you want me to make you anything to eat?” Corbin asked from the kitchen.
Matrix looks back at him, crossing his arms, "Nah thanks. In fact I'm feeling kind of woozy so I'm might not eat today."
Corbin arched a brow at that. “That’s.. unlike you,” he said slowly.
Matrix snorts, "I know right." In truth he was so nervous he would have probably thrown up right then and there of butterflies in his gut.
Corbin looked at Matrix. “Is anything wrong or do you feel sick?” He asked.
"I just said I feel woozy." He sways and grabs onto the doorjam for support
Corbin quickly got up when he saw Matrix sway a bit. “Come here, sit down,” he told Matrix, grabbing onto his arm.
"No. I'm fine." He wrenches his arm from Corbin. He shuffles to the bathroom and locks himself inside, "Shit…"
Corbin frowned as he watched Matrix walk away. What was wrong with him?
(Satan is on his way. Yay.)
Matrix coughs, "No… No. No. no. no… Damn."
(Oh no what)
Corbin gave a soft sigh as he walked to the bathroom. He knocjed lightly on the door before leaning against the wall next to the door. “Matrix, are you okay in there?” He asked.
(Yee. Objections? Suggestions?)
"No…" Matrix wheezes, "And neither are you. Belial's boundary is failing."
(Nah, you do your thing)
“What? What are you talking about?” Corbin asked. “Matrix, come out here.”
Matrix was silent and he didn't move. He had looked up into the mirror. Behind him in the reflection it was pitch black. His eyes where a blood red and glowing. His skin had black stripes around the shoulders and neck. As he stared his reflection's mouth curled into an unnaturally wide and toothy grin.
Corbin knocked on the door again. “Matrix?” He asked again.
"Ah! Corbin!" Matrix throws open the door, grabbing the other's wrist, "Quick! We need to get you to a church!"
Corbin flinched when Matrix popped out. His eyes wide when he saw Matrix’s appearance. “What is going on?!”
(It was just the reflection in the mirror)
"Don't ask questions. Get in the car. I've got your crutch and Orion." He tosses Corbin's wrist toward the door. He turns sharply to the back door.
(Ohh okay)
Corbin glared sharply at Matrix. He stepped into his bedroom for a moment. He got into the closet and grabbed his pistol and rifle before walking out to the truck.
Matrix throws open the door and calls for Orion, then turns, grabbing Corbin's crutch and racing out to the car.
Orion pads out to the car. Corbin opened the back door of the truck and Orion hopped into the backseat.
"Hurry up." Matrix barks. He was constantly looking around, cracking his neck slightly, "Alright. Get to the nearest church. And stay there."
“Wait, you aren’t coming with me?” Corbin asked with wide eyes.
Matrix laughs, "No. I can't step into a church. Or else I burn alive. Plus. Who, other then Belial, is going to keep Dad down?"
“Matrix I’m not leaving you,” Corbin said with disbelief, shaking his head.
