Corbin didn’t respond now and frowned heavily to himself instead. He understood what Matrix was saying, but he was still worried about it.
Corbin didn’t respond now and frowned heavily to himself instead. He understood what Matrix was saying, but he was still worried about it.
"Aw is little baby scared of the big bad monster in the forest?" Matrix mocks, trying to raise the mood slightly
“Shut up,” Corbin mumbled quietly. He tugged the covers up a bit more to reach almost to his shoulders.
Matrix chuckles then stands. He whacks Corbin's back, "Scoot."
Corbin turned his head to glare sharply at Matrix because of the slap to his back. With a huff, he complied and moved over a bit.
Matrix flops down beside the human, rolling on his side so that his back was against Corbin's
Corbin tensed up a bit when Matrix got onto the bed with him. He shook off any.. unnecessary thoughts, reminding himself that he was angry with Matrix.
Matrix smirks, "You can't even stay angry for five minutes." He laughs slightly
“You don’t know anything, I’m still mad at you,” Corbin huffed. He stayed with his back to Matrix, and squeezed his eyes shut tight.
"Uh huh." Matrix smirks. His arms where still crossed and so reached out his fingers and tasers Corbin in the side then recoils as if he didn't do it
Corbin made a noise of surpise. He reached out, giving Matrix’s arm a harsh slap. “Stop that!” He exclaimed.
Matrix laughs, grabbing at Corbin's hand but missing. He hisses through his fangs with laughter
“God, I hate you sometimes,” Corbin grumbled. He rested his head back down and shut his eyes again. All he wanted was to sleep this anxiety off.
Matrix huffs and closes his own eyes. Before he drifted off he touches his chest just to feel the molten stuff was still pumping steadily.
(Time skip?)
(Yeah sure)
Corbin had woken up a bit late in the morning, but hadn’t left bed. He didn’t feel too well metally, and couldn’t find the motivation to get out of bed. The argument had left him feeling emotionally drained, and all he wanted was to be alone so he could break down.
Matrix was on his stomach, sprawled out on the side of the bed. His mouth was open wide and drooling. His tail had somehow wrapped around the blankets at the foot of the bed and had pulled them up to the demon's chin. He was hugging those blankets under himself
Corbin hadn’t minded the loss of blankets. He had been burning up anyways. He gave a soft huff, wanting to go back so sleep.
Matrix sniffs loudly, rubbing his face into the mattress.
Corbin found that he wouldn’t be able to sleep. He forced himself out of bed stifling a pained grunt when he put weight on his left leg. He rubbed at the scar, leaning a bit of his weight against a bedside table.
Matrix snorts and blinks. He momentarily freaks out slightly at the darkness in front of his eyes but soon figured out how to roll over on his back, "HOLY SHIT THE LIGHT! IT BURNS!"
Corbin fliched and let out a curse at Matrix’s outburst. “Matrix, quit it!” He said in a sharp tone. It was too early in the morning for him to be dealing with this.
"Quite what?" Matrix rolls on his stomach and plants his head in COrbin's pillow
*quit
“The yelling,” Corbin huffed. He ran a hand through his slightly bedheaded hair s he looked down at Matrix tiredly.
"Mmm…" Matrix kicks out at the end of the bed
