Corbin gave a slightly awkward chuckle and ran a hand through his hair. “Right. I’m going to get a shower, just call if you need anything,” he said, letting go of Matrix’s hand.
Corbin gave a slightly awkward chuckle and ran a hand through his hair. “Right. I’m going to get a shower, just call if you need anything,” he said, letting go of Matrix’s hand.
"Yeah." Matrix holds a smile that quickly falls the moment he stepped out of the house. He lets out a hiss of air through his teeth, running a hand through his own hair. He walks to the shadows of the forest and ducks into them.
Corbin had lingered, watching Matrix go. He wished that the other would just listen to him, but he knew that wasn’t going to happen. He gave a huff and walked into his bedroom, and then into the bathroom.
Matrix marched purposely through the forest, crashing noisily through the underbrush. He knew it was a bad idea to be outside in his condition. As he was thinking this both of his legs gave way under him and he trips down a small, black ravine. He lay on his side at the bottom for a few minutes.
"Oh little brother~ Look how low you've sunk this time…"
Corbin undressed after turning the water on and got into the shower. He sighed as he did so, the hot water relaxing his previously tense muscles.
Matrix looks up to see his dear big sister, Belial. (She looks like this https://i.pinimg.com/564x/62/2d/73/622d73b084c90a220eb539eede2f8640.jpg) The demon of destruction and cunning.
"Shit…" Matrix closes his eyes to her and groans into the ground, "Not now…"
"Hah! I traveled all the way from the Underworld to see my darling brother." She says slowly and some what seductively.
Corbin scrubbed the soap suds in his hair. He sighed as he did so, sigging his fingers into the scalp. He couldn’t stop being worried about Matrix.
Belial rolls her yellowish eyes, kicking Matrix over on his back, "C'mon now. We haven't seen each other for millennia."
"And for good reason." Matrix snarls, sitting up and squinting at her blurry form. His eyes where starting to fog up again, "You fucking destroyed the entire planet!"
"One asteroid didn't kill off all of those maggots. The mammals still survived didn't they?"
"BARELY!"
"Enough. Im here for one thing and one thing only. Where is the human?"
"Huh?"
"The human, Matrix. The one you have taken to."
"Shit! Hell no!"
Corbin finished up in the shower and got out, drying himself off with a towel. He went into his bedroom and got dressed, having a sharp ache in his leg.
"You ain't dragging me down with ya sister. Peace! Syanara! Das vidanya! And all those different languages!" Matrix waves Belial away as he walks back toward the house, "That is a very strong this to say at the moment!"
Belial laughs, tossing her oddly flowing hair over a shoulder," You won't have a choice sooner or later, Matrix."
"LALALALA!! I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" Matrix covers his pointed ears as he walks. He can barely see the house's lights from where he was.
Corbin slowly got under the covers. He sighed, Orion jumping up onto the bed with him and laying by his feet.
Belial smirks before she lunges at Matrix. Matrix lets out a high pitched screech, tripping over his feet as he blindly crashes through the forest. His head jerks to the side as Belial grabs one of his stubs of a horn. Matrix crashes to the grassy ground of the house's backyard. His head was being held up by the Succubus.
Corbin thought that he heard a noise just as he had his eyes shut to try to sleep. He jerked up, and Orion gave a slow growl. He immediatly thought about Matrix adnd got up, throwing shorts and a tshirt on before slipping his shoes on. He walked to the backdoor and grabbed his rifle on the way out.
"STUPID SHITTY SUCCUBUS!" Matrix roared as his head was pulled back by his horns.
"Oh hush, dear brother. You're in the way." Her oddly colored eyes gleam in moonlight from the clearing.
Corbin’s eyes widened when he noticed Matrix and some woman attacking him. “Matrix!” He shouted, leveling his gun. It was difficult, he couldn’t see through the scope well in the dark.
"No! Don't!" Matrix barks at Corbin. Belial chuckles into his ear. She beams and lets go of the demon's horns, "Ah. So this is him? The mortal." She stands, kicking out her hip slightly.
Corbin hesitated when Matrix told him to stop. He tensed up slightly at the woman’s words, feeling hints of fear singe his nerves. Who the hell even was this?
Matrix coughed, rolling on his back and holding his chest where his 'heart' seemed to glow brighter than usual.
Belial disappears in a cloud of greyish purple mist just to creep up from the dark in front of Corbin, "You scored a nice one, Matrix. Im impressed. Father isn't though…" She raises Corbin's head up slightly by his chin and her slender fingers
Corbin had started to step forward when Matrix was on the ground, his eyes full of concern. Father? Was this Matrix’s sister or something? He turned his head away from her. “Don’t touch me,” he growled.
"Ah… Feisty. Yet. Probably can't hold his own." She glides backward slightly, her eyes darting to Corbin's leg. Matrix sits up on the ground, his fangs glinting in the moonlight. His eyes flashing gold
“I can,” Corbin responded with an edge to his tone. He noticed the woman’s gaze on his leg and clenched his jaw. How did she seem to know?
"Oh don't worry, mortal. I won't hurt you." She winks at Corbin, her hands in her hips.
"You better not." Matrix snarls. Belial rolls her eyes again, turning to face her brother, "Little brother, you know the penalty."
"Hell no. You are not. Go bother Roronoa(Zozo) instead! He messes with mortals daily!"
"Yes… But… He isn't the runt."
"IM NOT A RUNT!" Matrix had gotten to his feet, stomping over to them.
Corbin gave Matrix a startled and slightly frightened expression. Orion stayed by his side, growling and snarling softly, as he could sense the tension.
Belial smirks, her own snake like fangs gleaming in the porch light. Matrix glares at her, stepping up beside Corbin, "Father won't do anything to this human as long as I am here." He threatens. Belial shrugs, crossing her arms, "That isn't your choice, Matrix."
Corbin’s fingers twitched and he resisted the urge to grab Matrix’s hand. He would be hurt for this? Hell, he was already a hunter, he would be killed.
