Corbin rests his hands on Matrix’s legs as he does his best to get comfortable. He felt an ache in his own leg, and remembered that he forgot his pain medication.
"You ok?" Matrix swings himself upright. His feet's talons making an awful scrapping sound against the floor. He puts a blackened hand on Corbin's shoulder
Corbin glanced over at the other, and resisted the urge to grimae at the scraping sound. “i’m alright, I just forgot to take my medication this morning,” he answered.
"Where is it?" Matrix stands , bumping his head against the roof. He hisses, holding the top of his head and hunching.
Corbin sat up quickly when Matrix got up. “It’s in the bathroom. Don’t worry about it, I can get it. Sit back down, Matrix,” he said to the other. Orion looked over at the others from where he was laying on a rug that was in the middle of the room, his ears perked.
Matrix purses his lips, "You sit. I've got it." He crouches down on his hands and toes and crawls to the hallway
“Marrix..” Corbin huffed, but the other was already out of the room. He gave a soft sigh as he sat back down. As nice as it was, he disliked people trying to do things for him that he was able to do. But Matrix didn’t know any better.
Matrix crawls into the bathroom then pauses again, "Uh…" He stands on his back feet and riffles through thr stuff on the sink counter then looks around at a shelf mirror thing, "WHERE?! Corbin?!"
Corbin huffed sharply again and stood up. He limped into the hallway and leaned against the doorway and looked at Matrix. “Under the sink,” he spoke up.
Matrix flinches. In his height he accidentally broke down the mirror/shelf (thing), "Shit. Sorry about that." He tosses it out to the bedroom then crouches down and takes out the medicine capsule. He hands it to Corbin then scoots out of the bathroom, "I try to be nice but make it so much worse."
“It’s alright, I can get a new one..” Corbin said with a slow nod. He took the pill bottle and reached up to caress Matrix’s jaw idly in a comforting manner. “It’s okay, I appreciate the help.”
"You shouldn't cause whenever I try to help you I just make things worse." He hisses, blowing at Corbin's hand with a stream of steam.
“No you don’t, not always. It’s just difficult now because you’re.. bigger,” Corbin said slowly. He kept his hand on Matrix’s cheek softly, and he bit at his lower lip.
Matrix purses his lips and rolls his eyes, "Then what is at least one thing I have helped you with? 'Normal size'" He uses his blackened and elongated fingers for quotations.
“Um, well you used to always help me up the stairs and such,” Corbin pointed out. They had hated each other at that time, or at least he had hated Matrix. How had he gone from hating the demon to having affections for him?
Matrix sighs, sitting down on the floor and running a hand through his hair, "We hated eachother then. That doesn't count. Also. How. Im asking again. How are you feeling these things about me? Of all people."
Corbin looked down at Matrix when the other sat on the floor of the hallway. “I still think it counts..” he grumbled lowly to himself with a soft frown, and his hand left the others cheek. “And I don’t know, Matrix. I hoenstly don’t. But I do, and that’s what matters, right?”
"That made no sense." Matrix chuckles, scratching the bottom of his horns. He gasps dramatically Feeling them, "I think they've grown a whole Millimeter!" He says sarcastically.
Corbin gave a sligth huff, and glanced away when the other brought up his horns. Of course- that was his fault because he had sold Matrix away.
Matrix huffs himself. He reaches up and flicks Corbin's forehead, "Stop feeling bad. I know you are." He looks down at his hands and smile as he sees they had shrunk in size slightly.
Corbin grimaced when Matrix flicked his forehead. “I have every right to feel bad,” he mumbled, reaching up to feel the stubble that had formed on his jaw and around his mouth.
"Scratchy beard." Matrix mutters darkly but then laughs, "You don't have to feel bad about anything. It was all my fault for walking down that road that night so long ago."
Corbin’s brows raised at Matrix’s comment and he cracked a brief smile before it faded off. “You couldn’t have know that I was there,” he said.
"Yeah. Well you where. And I have been on this Earth for millennia. So. I should have known anyway." He pauses for a moment then scoots over slightly, "I suppose you'd like it if I weren't blocking your way to the rest of the house huh?"
Corbin gave a grunt it response, and he had a faint smile on his lips. He reached to run his fingers through the other’s hair, massaging his scalp for a moment. “It’s kind of crazy though, right? A human and a demon. I’ve never heard of anything like it,” he said before adding. “It’s kind of stupid, but I get a bit jumpy still, you know? I just get paraniod is all, probably from my PTSD, that you’re.. you’re faking with all of this. That you’ll run off or kill me in my sleep or something.” After saying it,, he gave a forced chuckle, mostly to mask his fear. “It’s really stupid.”
