(That’s all good, and yep)
Corbin made himself a plate of food, which was just pasta, and sat down at a dining room table. Orion sat next to him, his already head resting on his lap. He smiled down at the dog, scratching behind its ear before beginning to eat.
Matrix growls and grunts as he forces his hand backward through the cuff's opening. He was using the back of the chair and the place where the cuff hooked as leverage at help the process… Even though he now couldnt really feel his knuckles or fingers.
Corbin wasn’t watching his camera at the moment. There was one set up in the basement, and the screen to watch was set aside. He continued eating, occasionally giving Orion a small scrap of food.
"C'mon…" Matrix grunts. Finally his hand pops free. With the momentum of the release his arm wheels wildly and tips the chair right over. Matrix coughs as the fall knocks all the wind from him
Corbin continued to eat, reaching over and flicking on what seemed to be an old radio. Orion sniffed at the bottom of the door that was leading to the basement and whined. “It’s okay, boy. It’s locked, everything is going to be okay,” he said, and whistled for Orion to come over. “I know it’s weird having other things in the house,” he sighed, scratching behind Orion’s ears. Yes, he spoke to his dog. He didn’t have anyone else to talk to. “Just wait, if we pull off a fewmore jobs, we can stop doing this and get a nicer house in the city, and I can afford my medication, so that’s less work for you.”
Matrix recovers from his fall, reaching over to the other hand cuff around his wrist. He puts his free hand in his pocket and draws out a Multi-Tool (Which isnt op! It will cause him to get hurt later on!). He sticks out his tongue as he tries to saw the chains. he has to take a few breaks because of the blood rushing to his head.
Finally, with a jerk the sent him realing backward again the chain breaks. A few links of metal dangle from the severed cuff on his wrist. he then reaches upward to do the same with his feet.
A minute or so later, Corbin was finished with his food. He got up, limping over to the sink with his dishes. He washed the dishes, humming to himself as he did so. Orion still seemed persistent about getting into the basement, whining now. “Orion, come on, bud, there’s nothing for you down there,” he sighed.
Once his feet where freed he rolls over the back of the chair. The only limb without the cuff still attached was his right wrist. He takes the stairs of the basement two at a time and and lurches against the basement door. (Is it locked?)
(Yeah, there’s just a deadbolt)
Corbin heard a thump against the door and he froze, eyes widening. Orion began to bark at the door, while Corbin quickly grabbed his rifle. He reached into his pocket, grabbing the remote to the collar. He turned up the strength of it before clicking another button to activate it, and he had waited for a moment.
(Ok)
Matrix roars as the collar activates but that doesnt stop him. He throws his shoulder against the door again. Three times he did this. The collar had made his arms curl up around his chest and fingers to clench into fists
Corbin cursed softly to himself, turning the strength up a tad before he tossed the rifle aside, grabbing his small, registered concealed carrier weapons instead. He thought for a moment before suddenly swinging the door open, the gun coming into contact a short second later to pistol whip the demon across the head.
Matrix was about to slam against the door but before impact it opened and he went flying but was caught in the head by something small and metal. His feet fly out from under him and he sprawls on the ground at the humans feet. He twitches, growls and grunts but doesnt get up. His head was throbbing.
Corbin slam’s his boot into the demon’s stomach before forcing it onto its stomach. He got down onto the floor, straddling the demon to keep it pinned down. He grabbed its wrists, twisting its hands behind its back. “How’d you get out, huh?” He muttered, Orion sitting nearby.
Matrix winces but cant help but laugh, "You humans are so stupid… You think everything is fail proof…" He snickers but coughs, loosing wind quickly. He tries to buck the human off of him, even trying to use his horns and the cuff chains.
“Mouth shut,” Corbin growled, moving off of the demon, only to drag it to its feet and to the top of the stairs. His jaw clenched in anger, and he just about shoved the demon down the stairs.
(Ok Im back!)
Matrix stumbles on the top. His arms wheel in circles. Before he could fall, his claws clenched around the human's collar. The last thing he thought about was 'If Im going down Ill drag at least one with me.'
Corbin’s eyes widened and a gasp escaped his lips when the demon grabbed onto his shirt. He was jerked forward, and they were both sent tumbling down the stairs and onto the hard concrete floor at the bottom. He stayed laying there, struggling to keep his eyes open as he fought unconsciousness. He vaguely hard barking, and felt what he guessed to be Orion’s nose nudging at his face. But his eyes closed anyways, and he drifted off into the darkness.
Matrix groans. His head had hit the cement floor with the fall. He opens his eyes and shakes his head to clear his vision. He blinks a few times and looks over at the hand that had grabbed the human. It was crooked v=over him at an odd angle. He curses as the the pain suddenly shoots through his shoulder
As Corbin lay sprawled out on his side, blood seeped from his left pant leg. The old scar on the back of his upper leg had reopened slightly, causing blood to spill onto the basement floor. Orion had stopped barking now, simply whining as he laid with his head on Corbin’s neck to seemingly protect the vulnerable area.
"Shit…" Matrix sits up and rolls the human onto his back. He freezes slightly, his hand twitching above the human's chest. He closes his eyes and tried to feel for his vitals. once he found then he turned to the human's leg. He rips the pants away from the wound then pauses again, looking around for anything that could help, "Well this is just bloody unheard of… A demon helping a fricken human…"
Corbin gave a slight groan of pain at the movement, but didn’t wake up. Orion shifted to lay his head back onto Corbin’s throat, watching the demon closely.
Matrix felt the eyes of the dog boaring into him as he uses the torn pieces of the pants to try and stem the blood flow…. With no effect.
A minute later, Corbin was awake, his eyes squinting open as he let out another pained groan. Orion sat up, now, beginning to bark. He hissed as he felt pain shoot along his leg, and he tilted his head up to see blood in a puddle on the floor. His eyes widened, but he looked even more startled to see the demon hovering over him. He quickly jerked away, which only sent more pain up his leg.
Matrix was just finishing off tying the last torn piece when the human yanked away from him. He made a kind of choking noise as he falls forward with the human's momentum.
Corbin looked around for his pistol, which had been flung across the room. He cursed to himself, scooting himself away from the demon. “Don’t touch me,” he hissed.
