"Calibie, Ronana, Avi, and….Ori? Nickname, nickname, nickna-ooh! Orilion!"
"Calibie, Ronana, Avi, and….Ori? Nickname, nickname, nickna-ooh! Orilion!"
(omg Orilion yesssss)
She laughed, then called into the building. “Ronan? We’re back, with Calixto and Ori!”
"Correction." Calla stated, "Ronana? We're back, with Calibie and Orilion!"
“Alright, Calla,” She said, laughing again and heading upstairs.
"Avi?" Calla reached out, taking an unsteady step, "I need help."
Calixto groaned a bit, ready for Ronan to ask why they were brought back.
Faye nodded in agreement, smiling warmly at Lila. “Yeah, it is. Lucky for you, i can be a pretty clingy friend, so you won’t have to worry about being alone,” she joked with a soft laugh.
~~
Ronan looked up when he heard their voices. He had been distracted, having been running his fingers up and down the strings of his violin, feeling the vibrations in his skin that made him want to shudder. He still looked at Calixto and Ori warily, but nodded.
Lila laughed slightly, "That's great, so when I try to push you away you'll just come back to bother me."
“Sorry, Sorry!” She rushed back down and helped Calla up the stairs before leading her to Ronan.
“Hey, uh, I gotta go out,” she said to Ronan, shouldering her lyre. “I should be back soon.”
Calla touched the wall, leading herself towards Ronan. "Ronana! You can apologize in person now!"
Faye laughed more, now full on smiling. “Exactly!” She chirped happily. It felt good to laugh and smile after everything that happened.
~~
Ronan nodded, looking at Avi. “Going to feed?” He questioned as he watched her closely.
Lila kept smiling the pain in her arm was gone, "We should head back now."
Calixto was quite intrigued as to how Ronan's apology would go. And he knew that the Sunai couldn't resist the kid. He was going to enjoy this.
Faye nodded and smiled, getting up off the ground. She held out a hand to help Lila up as she glanced around.
~~
Ronan gave a tight frown. He didn’t want to apologize. Not to Calixto and the Corsai. He didn’t say anything at first, simply leaning back, violin still in his lap.
Lila took the hand. She, with Faye's help, got up off the ground. She looked around while hovering one hand over her gun.
Cal rose an eyebrow, expecting this from the Sunai.
"Calla, 's fine. Looks like he really doesn't want to," he told the younger Sunai. He did want to hear one to hold it above Ronan as long as he was here, but both of the males had one thing in common: they were stubborn as hell.
“Yeah,” she said from the doorway. “Good luck here.”
"No! He does. Ronana?" Calla turned, hoping that she was facing him, but was really facing the cots.
//calla is so cute
Faye tugged Lila back inside, stopping at the base of the stairs as she heard conversations floating down. It sounded serious. Should they really go up then?
~~
Ronan snapped his fingers in his direction to get Calla’s attention. “I will, don’t worry,” he said. Not yet.
Ori sits down near one of the cots, over half hidden in shadows. monsters, monster, live a little longer. The Corsai doesn't seem to realize that he is singling.
Lila looked at Faye. She heard the commotion upstairs, "We should check it out."
(back to the top so it doesn't die)
'Will.' Meaning not now, most likely meaning not ever. He sighed, walking off. He didn't need to be reminded that no one wanted him around. Well maybe Karina did, but he wasn't ever going back to the way things were. Freedom was called freedom for a reason.
