"Listen, uh, let's think of something else, okay?" he asked, having no idea how to handle the situation.

"That's why Ronana is so important, Calibie. He loves me. . .when no one else will." Calla looked at the floor and hugged her knees. "He's important to me. I don't know what I would do-" her voice cracked and she started to cry-"do if he wasn't there." it started to rain.
Calla got up and wobbled to the window, opening it and sticking her arms out. She let the rain fall on her burns as she leaned out, trying to catch a drop on her tongue.
(Calixto's supposed to be stubborn af and kinda standoffish and here's Calla going and melting his heart)
(it's what she does)
Calixto watched as she went towards the window to feel the rain. He felt kinda bad for the poor girl. Agh, what was it about her that made him feel less angry? She was kind of wise for her age, wanting everyone to get along and be happy.
The rain was fluid, the same water from years ago. Ending up in oceans and lakes and the small puddles that children splashed in. Water was so harmless, a fun pastime for those who swam. But at the same time, it was a catalyst. Destroying in floods and leaving carnage behind. Those who resisted were brought down, but the reeds by the stream, stayed. Unresisting. To the flow of the water, the flow of the wind.
Calla felt a drop of water on her nose and she wiped it off, wondering what color it could be. White, she decided. My color. Pure, like me, loved, like me, but feared in times when it has become too strong.
Ori curled deeper into Cal, purring intensifying.
"Ori, you're not helping!" he groaned. Sighing he let his head bump the wall behind him.
Ori just replies in sing song. oh well, go to hell.
(Dang, Ori's savage even when sleepy)
(Always)
(y e s)
Calixto rolled his eyes.
"I just got free from a living hell, I think I'm good," he deadpanned, remembering the collar he used to have.
Ori mumbles something unintelligible. Promptly, he purrs loud enough that Cal's teeth start to rattle.
(Cal like: Can you not?)
"Okay, what's with all the purring?" he asked. He looked to be part feline, but this was weird.
(Orion: i'll purr if I want, begone thot.)
Ori wraps a tail around Cal's shoulders. A tail. A fully functional tail. With a tuft on the end. A very soft tuft.
(Calixto: Excuse you, you're the thot who's legit purring in my effing lap)
Calixto pushed it off. It was soft, but this was a bit much. He picked Ori up and off his lap, and stood up. Nope nope nope, not getting dragged into any more of this.
Making an indignant mewl, Ori has simply clung to Cal, essentially sticking to him.
(oMG I JUST LAUGHED AT THAT)
"Ori, get off!" he exclaimed, getting irritated with his shenanigans. Malachi even attempted to pry him away but it was hopeless.
Ori gives a short and sweet reply. no, oh.
(Gonna revive Karina lmao)
He groaned, extremely irritated. He'd have to walk around with a stubborn Ori stuck to him. Greatttttt.
Noticing Karina off by herself enjoying watching the rain, he walked over to her.
"A little help…?" he asked, voice pleading.
Karina turned to see Calixto in quite a situation. She was still a bit jumpy around Corsai, but this? This was hilarious! She only laughed, barely able to speak through her laughter.
"HEY! Stop laughing!" Calixto demanded.
The mentioned Corsai is still purring, loud enough that Karina can hear it.
Calixto felt a growl rise up in his throat.
"You gonna stop and help me or what?" he spat, trying to push Ori off again.
Karina was wiping tears of laughter from her eyes when she spoke.
"Aha… sorry, that looks like a you problem," she said.
Calixto simply glared daggers at her.
"Okay, look. Did you try asking-" she was cut off by Calixto shouting "YES!" and then ranting about Ori not letting go. Karina shushed him, telling him to let her finish.
"Did you ask nicely?"
Silence.
Lila was laughing from the floor.
"Hey, you shut up too!" Calixto exclaimed, glaring at Lila.
Sighing, he tried asking nicely. "Please get off?"
Karina snickered. That was his idea of nice?
"No way," Lila laughed, "This is way to funny."
