Ori nods. ori is me, no need to flee. The Corsai is nodding his head to some tune that the other can't hear.
Calixto keeps on walking, unsure how to converse with the Corsai. He just felt relieved to be away from the Sunai, Ronan. He was a jerk.
"Anywhere but here," Lila responded, "I need to get away from everything for a bit."
“Oh, do you want me to stay? If not I can go back,” Faye said slowly. She was worried about Lila, about the gash on her arm.
Lila sighed, "You can stay. I don't care."
(Whoops I sorta ditched Karina.) She felt kind of odd still sitting in the building by herself with the Sunai group. Ronan especially wasn't fond of anyone's presence it seemed. She walked out of the building to get some fresh air when she noticed Faye and Lila.
Faye nodded, rubbing a hand over her arm. “I’ll stay with you then,” she responded. She glanced around, feeling very out of place. The Sunai, Ronan, said there were almost no humans in the South Sector. That they were usually killed by Malchai or Corsai.
"Okay," Lila told her. She sat down on the floor, and fiddled with her medallion. She had never felt right, in the North Sector or the South Sector. That was just one of the downsides of being a Sunai, Human hybrid.
Faye frowned softly and sat across from Lila, legs crossed. “Are you okay?” She asked in a soft tone.
"I guess," Lila shrugged. No, how can I explain my situation? I'm never okay. I never will be. I shouldn't exist, I-I'm going to be locked up in a lab and never seen again. Just so some stupid scientist can wonder how I'm possible. Someone who doesn't understand what love can truly do.
Lila felt tears slowly rolling down her cheeks.
(NOOOOOO DON'T CRYYYYYYY)
Faye’s eyes widened as she looked at Lila sadly. She scooted so she was beside Lila now, and hugged her, being careful of her injured arm. “What’s wrong?”
(Karina: FRICK, DON'T CRY hugs Lila until she stops crying, just casually being the mom friend)
Lila wanted to say everything was fine, but it wasn't. She hissed slightly because of her arm. She sadly replied, "Everything."
(Lila: stops crying but still is having an existential crisis. Frick.)
“Do you want to talk about it?” Faye asked in a gentle tone, loosening her hold on Lila when she heard her hiss.
Calla remembered her first day in the world. In the forest. Hands, crawling up her legs, teeth sinking into her arms. Blood. Blood everywhere. Corsai's scared her.
Lila shook her head, "I-I can't"

(Lmaooo)
Faye frowned lightly. “Oh, why not?” She asked, being curious. She wanted to help Lila feel better, but she didn’t think she could if she didn’t know what was wrong.

Ronan sat back down on the edge of the cot, holding Calla in his arms. He pressed a kiss to her forehead, speaking in a soothing tone. “It’s okay, the Corsai is gone. You’re safe.”
"Safe." Calla repeated. She knew she would always be safe with Ronan. "I'm sorry for running off Ronana."
"Becuase I'm scared," Lila said, "I'm scared of how you'll react. I'm scared of what will happen to me."
“React to what? Lila, what’s going on?” Faye asked in a hesitant tone. She was worried, and nervous to find out what was wrong.
~~
Ronan nodded slowly. “Yes, safe.” But he frowned softly when Calla apologized. “You don’t need to apologize, Calla. It wasn’t your fault what happened. It was the humans fault,” he said.
Calla nodded. "Ronana? The humans aren't giving us a chance, right? But we're not giving the Corsais a chance. We should go find them and apologize. We understand how it feels."
Ronan exhaled slowly. “Corsai are much more viscous than us. They don’t tend to have free will on what they kill. We aren’t too similar to them,” he explained.
