@A5_ WICKED
Flair gives a final heave of the plank of wood and the door pops open. She pushes herself weakly into the hallway, falling against the wall. She walks along it, leaning heavily. Her eyes could still see zilch

Lukas nodded, agreeing with Icarus and Hase. "Splitting up is a bad idea. And Xiang, how do you know so much about the beast? Is all of this information just 'conveniently' in that creepy book of yours."
( Whats happening?)
"Yes, it's in my book." He says, looking toward the stairs, "Trust me… please. I know what to do." He says chuckling softly. In truth he was completely terrified. He takes a shuddering breath. "Just trust me…" He takes a breath, his heart thudding against his chest.
"I- We trust you. Did… did the beast get Flair?" Hase asked, wishing he was somewhere else. Nothing made sense here, and no one would look for them. It didn't seem like any of them had told their guardians about their little expedition, and he certainly hadn't told his uncle.
"It's a high possibility…" He mutters, gulping softly, "I'm going to find her, I'll be back. Just… stay together. If anything happens, take this and blow." He holds out the whistle. His heart was thudding. He needed to find Flair, make sure she was okay, and get back here. Before the beast comes out…
"Wait…are you going by yourself? Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of staying together?" Lukas asked, finally standing up straight. He shoved his left hand in his pocket and used his free one to shine the flashlight on his phone.
Hase hesitantly took the whistle. "Yeah, won't the beast get you then?" He tapped his side with his free hand, trying not to panic.

Flair staggers along the wall. Her breathing was harsh and sharp and every step she almost fell over something
He was terrified, but he chuckles, "Don't worry. I have a few tricks up my sleeves. Just stay together." He tries for a winning smile, but it comes out more like a grimace. He takes a shaky breath. "Don't worry. I'll be back in a flash." He says softly. He clutches the book to his chest, hear evident in his eyes.
Hase nodded, taking a shaky breath. "Do you want me to go with you? If you get attacked, I don't think any of us can handle another missing person."

(Anyone on?)
Xiang looks back at Hase and nods, "Yeah… You can come with me. Everyone else, keep together and don't leave this room." He says, glancing at them each.
As the two left, a large hissing noise filled the room, black eyes glared at them in the darkness. Evil laughter that sounded like a hissing noise echoed through the halls.
(Is the noise happening to them or everyone else?)
(Everyone else)
(Okay so are Hase and Xiang unaware of what's happening?)
Lukas jumped and sprinted towards the windows as soon as he heard the sound. "Okay…that was really creepy." His voice was rushed and full of panic. He tried lifting the window frame, hoping to be able to climb out. "We need to leave. Now."
(Okay so are Hase and Xiang unaware of what's happening?)
(Yes)
The doors and windows were locked tight, and it would be next to near impossible to break through them. The eyes blinked out of existence, but the hissing got louder. The eardrums of each person felt as if it was going to burst. There was a door to the right, cracked only slightly. It looked secure and safe.
Lukas covered his ears and squeezed his eyes tight, but not before he saw a door to his right open the smallest bit. Figuring that it could lead to an open window, he started for it. He felt like his ears were about to bleed, so he kept his shaking hands over them as he ran. I knew I shouldn't have come here… Lukas thought between shaky nervous breaths.
Flair screamed as her new head pounded with the noise. She fell against the wall, writhing and her eyes dialate to insanity. (Even though nobody could tell) She yelled harshly, a dribble of black substance running from her lips
Isaiah would scream if he knew how; all he manages is a moan as the noise, a hissing, pierces at his ears. Wake up, Isaiah. Wake up!
(Bringing this back up.)
(Yeah…)
(Oof, yeah)
