"Max is a precious baby, so stop hurting him," I show her the clothes I had slung over my arm, "are these alright?"

"Oh come on! It's not like I can actually hurt him!" I point to the several rocks stuck in his ribcage. "I made a game out of it! Anyway, those are great! Thanks." I quickly change, pulling the hood over my face. "Could you recognize who I am?"

"Nope, you just look really shady, like you're about to go up to someone and offer drugs out your coat. It's a good look for you actually." I smile, "Let's get going then, Max will stay on the outskirts of town so locals don't see him and he will meet us when we leave. I assume you want to leave as soon as possible so we should get supplies and we can sleep in the woods if you want."

"Excuse me??? What have I done to deserve this unsolicited attack against my character?!" I exclaim in mock indignance. "Also, I don't know how much longer I can keep traveling with you. The longer I'm gone without taking you back as well the worse it'll look for me."

"You can leave at any time you want, I've got Max and sure I'd miss this time we've spent talking but I'll always have the rock you gave me and you'll have some shady clothes"

"Ah, the memories. I can taste the nostalgia already!" As we walk into town, I can see out of the corner of my eye a figure darting in the shadows. Immediately, I tense, but I force myself to relax. It's just an ordinary thief. They wouldn't be all the way out here, right? And even if they were, there's no way they could tell who I am. Right?

"I can't wait to tell my kids about the day an idiot ran into me at a tavern and chased me down the street, then followed me to the next village over and then talked to me for a few hours, all because they're job was to arrest me but we were too far away from wherever," I grin, thinking about what my future could hold if I play my cards right. I could get married and have kids, it all seems so domestic.

"You know what? It's not too late. I could still drag you back, and we both know I'm stronger." I say it lightly and jokingly, but my eyes are scanning for other shadowy figures, signs that they're watching.

"Yeah, but I got Max standing just outside this town, and by the way you were talking about it, not many people like you here," I joke back, but even so I know I have an upper hand if she did attempt to drag me back it would most likely turn into what happened in the city.

"Yeah, I let you win last time," I lie. I nearly jump as the shadow of a flag flutters. "Where do you need to go here anyway? How long do you think it will take?"
(Since there are two of us and I don't think anyone else is joining anytime soon, if you want to play multiple characters at the same time that might be fun. We'd have to switch out of first person though.)

"Well, I want to head to the marketplace and get some supplies, the next town is a couple days over and scince you don't want to stay here long we might want to get some stuff to camp out with."
(Yeah, can do, what kind of characters were you planning to do, the shadowy figures like enemies or friends or someone else from the watch coming to get Masalee cause gosh darn it how long does it take)

"Fair enough"
(I have to plan some characters, but I was thinking some antagonists, maybe a friend of Masalee's, maybe someone completely unaffiliated, honestly anyone. It's a pretty stretchy plot and world so far. And whoops I didn't realize you were waiting for that! I was planning something more related to her backstory.)

We keep walking until we reach the market and I purchase some cheap and basic supplies, enough for a few days on the road.
(Yeah, it is a very undeveloped world, depends on how long you want to keep this going, I'm currently really enjoying this and would so be up to develop this more along the lines of plot. Why is Masalee cautious about the town btw)

I let Willow do the talking and leading, and I think a shopkeeper was intimidated enough by me to let her haggle the price down lower than safe for a business.
(I'm also having a lot of fun, and would like to develop the world as well as a central plot! It's a little weird to do this as a roleplay though because I want you to have a say in this and don't want to just force a plot on you, but it's hard to develop a plot when we're both going in separate directions. And Masalee was involved in some gang stuff.)

I grin that I still have some coins after and slightly thankful that Masalee does look shady. I give her a bag of supplies and a mat to sleep on and pull my own onto my back.

(Oh dang, yeah I know what you mean, well if we make the gang the main antagonists then we could continue to where ever and have them follow and start a plot about willow being completely clueless while Masalee is doing all this cool stuff and fighting gang members, feel free to change everything I'm just spit firing ideas)

"So where will we sleep?"
(That'd be cool! And there are some characters from her childhood I might not play, but would probably have a presence! And if there's stuff from your backstory you'd like to bring into play, go for it! And introduce new characters, settings, subplots, major plots you'd like to get into whenever! Also I was thinking Willow killed off a branch of Masalee's gang?)

"We can find a clearing just past the town's boarders," Willow said, noticing the darkness beginning to cover the sky.
(Yeah, that'd be cool, are we going to start using third person then, we could have some members attack in the night or something)

"Okay. As long as you keep your dear monster away from me."
(Cool, cool! I'll have to do some planning and prepwork at some point, but I can probably wing a gang attack.)

"I'm pretty sure you're the one I have to keep away from him, but let's go, we should set up before it's completely dark."
(Yeah, I'll make up some characters we can meet along the way, we should probably establish the gang hierarchy and what were going to do with Masalee and the watch)

"I promise I won't maim him for no reason."
(Okay. I can handle the Watch stuff, unless you want to make a character who is a part of it, in which case you'd be in a better position to do that, and what sort of hierarchy were you thinking of?)

"You say that now but you were throwing rocks at him for no reason earlier," Willow sighs as they reach the edge of the town.
(Like you said about the branches then they all link back to the tree which would be a leader/leaders. if your down we could also have some dirty watch members to create tension there, like they've always been watching masalee, but if you want to handle the watch stuff you can make it what you want, i don't really mind. Should we have some people join Willow and Masalee on their journey or is it just them two?)

"Hey! He could have killed me earlier! It was self-defense!"
(I don't know how far down the gang rabbit-hole we'll go, but for now I guess we don't need much yet. And dirty Watch members could be interesting, but Masalee's already playing with the idea of corruption in the system so they'd have to be different than that sort of corruption. Actually, come to think of it I have a beloved character who would fall excellently into the role of chasing down Masalee! He'd be fun, especially given the histories of Willow and Masalee. And I think that might depend on the character, but if you'd like to keep them a duo, that's also fine.)

"Self defense you say, you were in a tree dropping rocks on him, it was rude and uncalled for"
(I mean, I guess it just depends what happens and if we can be bothered to fit one in. If you've got a good character to fit it in then we can do that, I'm also working on a few that I could adjust a bit and they could fit in nicely.)

Masalee sticks her tongue out at Willow and prepares her bed mat.
(Nice! I'm really excited for this!)

Willow does the same while Max runs over to them. When Willow finished laying out everything and sat down She got some food out and started eating. Max curled up next to her.
(Yes, now that we've actually established an idea for a plot instead of just playing it by ear it should be easier. Also, I don't know how many more of these kind of conversations we can have since i'm going back to school in a few days and won't be able to stay up this late, so it's going to have to be shorter conversations and over a few days, just to let you know)
