"Well then tell us, what happened between youand this Lark character."
"Well then tell us, what happened between youand this Lark character."
"Uh, there's kind of a lot to tell, and I'd rather not if it's all the same."
"Willow's hearing voices in her head and I think you're being targeted which puts us all in danger. Please tell, if it's all the same."
"Oh shoot, what if the voice was in my head, I could be going insane."
"Go then. We won't let you arrest us, but go. I'm regretting taking you along."
"Willow, you're not insane. I can promise you that much," Masalee sighed.
"She's telling the truth," Cert chimed in. "And I'm not leaving now. This is too interesting."
"Well that means the voice was real then, and I don't think it liked you much, Masalee."
"Yeah, probably not. If you're worried about safety, I told you before I can continue on my own. That's still true. You can leave at any time."
"Why are you so dodgey?" Cert asked.
"Hey, I got nothing to loose and anyway, I've already said I'd help you," Willow gives a small smile.
"You are a bold and reckless person. Well, good chat. We should probably keep going now."
"No." Cert interjects. "Who is Lark to you? And where are you guys going, anyway?"
"Yeah, should we go into the town or around it?"
"How badly do we need to restock? It shouldn't matter too much though. I think they're tracking us somehow."
"Hey! This conversation isn't over!" Cert complained.
"Fine then. I'll tell you one thing: my friend, the person I thought of as Lark, is dead. I don't know who this new Lark is."
"Go home cert, if you're not with us then leave," Willow said, on her last nerve.
(rip cert) "Fine then! Fine! I'll stop questioning this INCREDIBLY SUSPICIOUS THING and just go on my merry way! No! I'm not leaving!" He saw the look in Masalee's eye, though, and decided to back off a little. "I'm just saying, there's no reason to trust anyone in this arrangement."
"Then don't trust anyone, if you're going to stay with us then fine, but if you don't trust us enough to have your back in a fight or watch out for it while you sleep then this might not be the right path to follow, and we might not be the right people for you to follow it on."
"Since when do I need you to have my back in a fight? I'm here for answers. Also, you have my horse."
Masalee silently keeps walking to the town, doing her best to ignore them.
"If you want your horse, take it and leave, if you want answers then go find this Lark person."
"I feel like I'll find Lark with you both."
"Hey Willow!" Masalee called. "What foods do you like?"
