"beautiful isn't it?" She asked, glancing around to the glass that stained to look like the night sky, complete with every constellation and planet
"It's incredibly beautiful. He built this?" Her tone was earnest now, honestly wondering how someone could create something that amazing.
She nodded "by himself. Each piece created and placed by him." He used to sneak away to the surface to study the night sky."
*Everything they know about him on the surface is wrong…" The realization struck her, and she stayed quiet for a moment. "I didn't know."
"it's not your fault, not anyone's really." She nudged Perrues hand with her head "he likes to keep to himself, so people make assumptions."
Perrie nodded, accepting that. She mulled it over for a few minutes, the atmosphere of the observatory helping her think. "Alright. Do you know the way back?"
She tilted her head "depends on where your heart pulls, I can guide you where you wish to be." She stood and waited, giving Perrie time to think
She hesitated, thinking for a moment. "I think… I want to stay down here for a little while. To see what it's really like down here."
The deer nodded once "very well, any place in particular?" She asked, standing up and walking in a circle, waiting for Perrie to make her decision. She stepped in a patch of light, the rays, shining through her to reveal a deer skeleton beneath the crystal, morbid yet beautifully white at the same time, made out of the same crystal as herself
Perrie froze for a second, staring at the deer with fascination. She took a moment to recover, before responding to the question. "No, I don't know where anything is down here. Other than the wolf in the forest, and the tunnel I cam through."
She finally made her way to the door and jerked her head outside. "There are many places of the Realm. Not many know of its secrets. You're sure you want to uncover them?"
Perrie shook her head. "Definitely not sure, but I'll try."
She nodded and headed outside. following a darker trail, leading away from the gardens "we'll learn a little bit of history."
"Sounds good." Perrie followed after her, pulling her own enthusiasm together.
"quite interesting actually."she led Perrie deeper into the dark woods. At one point, the wolf joined them. "Going back?" He asked
Perrie shrugged. "Not yet. I'm staying, for a little while at least. I want to know more about what it's actually like down here."
"not much different than up there." He explained as they passed ruined covered in the land's history. "The underworld used to flourish with wildlife and vegetation, not exactly like up their but very similar." The deer explained
"Used too?" She asked cautiously, looking around but not seeing the plants she talked about.
The wolf nodded "that's before Zeus destroyed the landscape to make it barely liveable for his brother." The deer nodded and stood in front of a mural
Perrie paused with her. "Why would he do that to his own brother?" She looked around once more before looking up and scanning the mural.
The wolf shrugged "To feel superior to him? to make him feel bad? No one knows but he." They moved onto another mural. This one depicting a picture of Cerberus. "The main guard of the gates."
"I've heard about him, the three headed dog?" Perrie asked, looking down at the wolf for an answer.
He nodded "yep, cousin of mine. Actually really nice." He trotted off and climbed a broken part of the ruins, curling up on the cliff "You two head-on, I'll stay here." he said with a yawn
"Alright, good bye!" Perrie kept following the deer, turning once to wave at him.
The wolf winked at her before settling his head on his paws "you really need to stop following her around like that," he muttered.
Hades glanced down at his old friend "I can't find myself to do that."
