I definitely prefer straight, very minimal swearing, and lots of fun! Would you rather be the guy or the girl?
ok I'm good with that, and you choose first,
I'll take the girl, then. Do you want templates, or go in blind? And are you alright with being the Hades character?
I'd rather go in blind if thats alright with you and yeah I'm totally fine with being Hades
Sounds good! I'm ready whenever, can you start?
Hades paced back and forth in front of his throne. "She's coming today, one meeting. That's it! Just to see how things are being run down here. Smoothly if I do say so myself but I digress." He muttered a few more encouraging words to himself and ran a hand through his dark black hair. "Your a God, she's a goddess…the most beautiful one your sinfully eyes have seen but it doesn't matter." He shook himself again and nodded "just a meeting, that's it."
(I'm assuming he's referring to Persephone?)
Perrie took a deep breath, braiding her hair back one last time. She ran a hand through it, biting her lip and trying to hide her fear. Her reflection looked back at her, a tanned girl with sun streaked hair. Be confident. He isn't… too terrifying. She turned, rustling her dress as she stepped over to the door and glanced one final time, out at the meadow.
Hades adjusted his black button down shirt once more and flicked imaginary dust off his pants "get a grip." He nodded sharply and sat upon his onyx throne, the surface reflecting back a mirror image of the god. White skin was a canvas for his dark blue/black eyes shadowed by dark eyebrows. His hair was slightly spiky and short.
Perrie ducked back inside, checking her mirror as she walked past. The old bolt creaked when she unlocked the wooden door hidden deep in her cellar. She whispered a short enchantment on the bolt, reinforcing the magic that kept anything… unwanted from coming up. She tapped the wall, signaling a series of tiny fireflies to light the way down a twisting circular staircase. No turning back now, she was on her way. She had entered the kingdom of the dead.
hades felt the presence of another living soul enter his realm and stiffened "who enters the gates of the Underworld? Come forth its ruler and bare witness to what you're curious mind seeks." He called throughout the room, the sound carrying itself through the area.
Persephone shivered at the words. Hadn't he been expecting her? Maybe she should go back, while she was still close. She hesitated, leaning against the tunnel war and taking deep breaths to try to calm herself. No, she was in it this far. She had to keep going. She straightened, continuing down the tunnel and trying to stay warm. The air was cool and damp, nothing like the warm air she was accustomed to above ground.
He glanced up as Persephone entered through the tunnels and sucked in a breath. Gods in olympus she's beautiful. He shook his head, freeing himself from the thought "To what do I owe this pleasure Persephone?" He asked sweetly
She stopped, tilting her head. "I… I thought you'd called me. There was note, I got it yesterday." She hesitated, feeling out of place.
He tilted his head in slight confusion and stood "no…I don't believe I did. Do you still have the note? May I see it?" He asked, ideas racing through his mind all at once
Perrie pulled a scrap of paper from her pocket. It simply said, You're summoned to the kingdom of the dead. She handed it to him, not meeting his eyes as she let him read it.
He took the paper from her and read it over, light blue flames waving off him as his anger slowly increased "Damn it Zeus! you think this is funny?" He shook his head and disintegrated the paper in his hand. "I'm sorry for the confusion, It seems my brother needs someone to taunt. I'm sorry about this Persephone." He turned to her with an apologetic look
She met his eyes, biting her lip. "Oh. That, that makes sense." She drifted back a little ways from him and the flames, slightly disturbed but unwilling to ask. "I guess I should go back, then."
He shook his head "stay a bit. They'll be suspicious if you come back early anyway." He sighed and headed to the gardens outside the palace
She stood there for a moment before following him, trying to memorize the layout of the elaborate buildings. She had to almost run to catch up with him, slowing down once she was slightly behind and to the side of him. She glanced down, crossing her arms and wishing she'd brought a cloak or something warm.
"Cold? or just uncomfortable?" He asked over his shoulder, opening the double doors to the backyard. He waved a hand in mid-air, having black cloak appear and handed it to her. "It can get a little chilly down here. Though there are many ways to get warm."
She startled, but accepted the cloak with a grateful smile. "I was just cold. It's very different down here, without the sun." She wrapped the cloak around her shoulders, happy with the warmth it brought.
"Yes, it is. But we live as best as possible." He said with a slight smile "consequences of having a dark heart." he muttered. "warm enough now?"
Perrie shot him a cautious smile. "Yes, thank you." She wondered if he truly had a dark heart. She kept walking, her lightweight boots tapping on the floor with each step.
He nodded once and clasped his hands behind him as they walked. He bowed his head to a few people wandering the gardens and smiled softly as reunited couples laughed and talked. "It's not so bad down here. Not as bad as you and the Olympians think it is."
