Nyx wrinkled his nose a little bit, thinking. "Oh. I…I don't know." He replied slowly, taking a bite of his food as he processed all of this, frowning a little bit.
(mmmhhh good point. 0_0 do you know how he should bring it up? )
Jude shrugged lightly, drumming his fingers on the edge of the table. "Yeah, it's…it's a lot to take in," He said with a faint laugh, hoping that he hadn't explained it all too vaguely.
(I mean…if he doesn't there's going to be a very confused Nyx later on if/when these two actually, y'know…do the do lmao)
Nyx nodded slightly, and took a sip of his drink. "It is." he took a deep breath, looking over at Jude.
(mhm. ooh– what if he saw two dads/moms and their kid, and he's like ?+?=??)
"Well, I'm kinda glad you asked," Jude lightly shrugged, then smiled, "Even though I ended up wheezing after choking on my juice– it's fine."

Nyx wrinkled his nose a little bit. "Sorry." he apologized. "But…thanks for telling me. I guess." he wasn't sure if he would ever need that knowledge, but he guessed it was good to have.
"Don't mention it," Jude smiled with a casual wave of his hand, leaning back in his seat with his warm cup of coffee and sighing at the fairly quiet streets; only light traffic.
Nyx finished up his food, looking over at Jude with a soft, happy smile. "I'm done." he announced, taking a sip from his drink and looking around.
"M'kay. Oh– have you tried the coffee yet?" Jude asked with a curious smile, taking a sip of his own drink.
Nyx blinked, and shook his head. He reached out for his coffee and took a cautious sip. "Oh." he said quietly, a faint smile flashing across his face.
"Good?" Jude asked, smiling around the edge of his cup. "I can make it at my apartment– we can have it with breakfast."
Nyx nodded slightly. "Mhm!" He agreed with a smile. "It's good." He bit his lip a little bit, then let out a breath.
Jude smiled, "I'm glad. There's probably a million other places in the city to get coffee, but I like going here when I'm in the area." He looked past Nyx, sighing at all the little delis and bodegas, "It's kind of a staple, here."
Nyx nodded a little bit. "Oh, okay." He replied with a soft smile. He took another sip of the coffee, making a slight face at the unfamiliar taste.
"Hm, that reminds me–" Jude said, tapping the edge of the table, " After we finish our coffee, do you wanna go shopping? We could go down Fifth, on our way back to the apartment and get you some clothes."
Nyx looked over at Jude. "Oh– okay!" he replied, a little excited at the idea of being able to pick out his own clothes, instead of the ones the scientists had given him, or the ones Jude had lent him.
"Yeah, it'll be fun," Jude shrugged, smiling as he took another sip of coffee, "Like a little fashion show or…a makeover" He added with a laugh.
He smiled, laughing a little bit. "I'll have to wear long pants because of my legs, though." he said after a moment.
"Hmm, true," Jude said with a thoughtful nod, "–But if you like, I can try getting a hold of someone to help out with that." He lightly shrugged, "In the future, I mean."
He shrugged his shoulders a little bit. "I…maybe." he replied softly. "But…I want to leave them as is for now." he looked over at Jude.
"Sure, that works," Jude nodded, smiling softly. "But I'm happy with how your arms turned out," He said, making a face at how strange the words sounded before chuckling, "–You know what I mean."
Nyx laughed softly, then nodded. "Me too." He agreed, smiling. "And yes, I know what you mean." He shrugged his shoulders a little bit, smiling.
Jude smiled, taking a final sip of his coffee before he set the cup down next to their empty plates. "Hm, well, It's pretty cool that we did that. Like– this is some spy movie shit," He chuckled, snapping his fingers at his next thought, "–Which reminds me, I should show you a few of the James Bond movies."
Nyx shrugged a little bit. "But I'm not a spy." He replied, frowning a little bit. "So how is this a spy movie? Unless you're a spy?"
Jude laughed, smiling as he shook his head. "No, I'm not a spy," He said with a little sigh, "But in the movies– they've got all this high-tech stuff; the things that RTI actually has; like all the different 3D printers and the lab." Jude idly traced the smooth edges of the table, "Also going along with the fact that I gotta be careful, in case someone…figures out what's up."
(ommmgg i have to say— I just logged on, and (I use Grammarly) and they must have updated something because a bunch of words have been changed into the funniest replacements, i thought I was tripping. this is,,,hilarious– I have to find a way to show you)
