Daus made a small humming sound as he began to push himself up, combing a hand through his curly hair as he let out a small yawn out. He would change into something else, though he had definitely not thought of bringing an extra change of clothing when he was drunk last night. "Hungry?" Daus asked, tilting his head to the side as he noticed Erikos' stomach growl.
"I'm always hungry," Erikos complained. "But yeah, I would love food right about now." He pushed himself up as well, a hand running through his tangled mess of hair that was still a disaster from being in the water all day
Daus stood up lazily, stretching a bit as he retracted his horns again, intent on not letting the people at the resort stare and point at them like they always did. "Let's get some then," he answered, taking Erikos' hand as he nodded towards the door.
"Aww, you should let your horns back out," Erikos complained. "If I can have fins and neon pink antlers, you can have horns," he said with a pout
"Okay, okay," Daus chuckled, letting his horns reappear, a fourth of them shrouded by his hair anyways. He took Erikos' hand and led him towards the door, opening it as he began to step out. It was quite cold outside, and Daus suddenly wished that he brought a jacket as he rubbed his arm in an attempt to warm it up.
Erikos didn't seem to mind the cold, even though he was in nothing but swim shorts. He gave Daus' hand a squeeze, yawning again as they made their way towards the cafeteria building
"Finally, food," Daus sighed as they made their way inside the building, glancing around at the others in the room and the food that seemed to be prepared in heaps. He finally decided on a table in a more secluded area, gently leading Erikos towards it as well.
Erikos followed him, his mouth open almost comically as he took in the sight and smell of food. "Oh my god, if I had a bigger mouth I would eat that whole damn table," he said with a laugh
Daus laughed in response, sitting down in his seat as he reached for some sort of pastry that already seemed to be set down on the table beforehand. He took a few bites, finishing it after a few moments as he began to realize how hungry he actually was. "Count me in. I'll eat the goddamn room," he joked, a faint grin crossing his face.
"Well, buddy boy, you don't have an endless pit for a stomach. So I think I'll beat you to it," Erikos said, wiggling his eyebrows teasingly before snatching an entire tray of bacon out of an employee's hands. They tipped the tray back, downing basically all of the bacon near comically before beginning to eat the tray as well
Daus nearly snorted out the orange juice he was drinking as he watched Erikos, immediately beginning to laugh as he set his glass down. "I wish I had a camera on me so I could videotape this," he commented in between laughs, leaning forward as he grabbed yet another pastry.
Erikos laughed, finishing eating the tray. It didn't look too pleasant since the tray was made of metal, but Erikos didn't seem to mind. "You could always video tape something else," he said, wiggling his eyebrows before winking and grabbing someone's breakfast sandwich
Daus' face immediately turned red when he heard Erikos' comment, quickly looking down as he focused on the pastry in his hand. "Oh, gods…I don't even know what to answer," he mumbled, finally looking back towards Erikos, almost sure that his cheeks were still tinted a new shade of pink.
"You don't have to answer, I know I can be annoying," Erikos said with a small laugh. He returned to his breakfast sandwich, which he downed more or less in one bite
"You're not annoying, don't worry. I'm just dorky and shy, which makes this happen," Daus chuckled, motioning up to his pink tinted cheeks as he took a bite from the pastry in his hand. He glanced around the room, almost debating whether or not he could eat everything in here if he wanted to.
"Yes, and it's the cutest thing in the world," Erikos cooed, giving Daus' cheek an affectionate pinch before returning to his food. He snatched a pot of coffee from a server walking by, grabbing a bottle of creamer and dumping so much into the pot that it was near overflowing
Daus grinned faintly as Erikos pinched his cheek, grabbing a cookie from one of the platters on the table. He tried to stifle a laugh as he watched Erikos dump the creamer in, though it eventually escaped him as the coffee almost overflowed. "Oh gods, are you going to keep pouring it in?" He asked, chuckling lightly as he took a bite out of the cookie in his hand.
"Nope, just cooling it down enough to chug it," Erikos said, laughing as he stooped to sip some from the pot to keep it from overflowing. Once it was no longer in danger of spilling he began to chug it just as he had said, only stopping to snatch a few more breakfast sandwiches from a passing server
Daus laughed loudly, the first time he had in a long time as he continued to watch Erikos, unable to keep a loving grin off of his face. "Well, you weren't lying about chugging it," he commented, laughing even more as he noticed the odd stares they were getting from others seated around them.
"No I was not," Erikos said before all but tossing one of the sandwiches into his mouth. He noticed Daus looking around, and a wild grin spread across his face. Jumping up on the table, he beamed down at Daus before waving his arms. "Assorted creatures, I have an announcement! This man is the goddamn cutest thing you will ever see, and he's mine!" he called, pointing at Daus before sitting back down
Daus gave Erikos a confused look as he noticed him step onto the table, moving his plate and glass so then the other man wouldn't step on it. Once he heard what Erikos said, he immediately covered his face with the sleeves of his sweater, almost sure that his face must have turned completely red. "Are you sure that you aren't still drunk…because I doubt anyone in this room, other than you, actually thought I was cute, Erikos," Daus groaned, a small chuckle escaping him as he felt the other's stares on his back, looking up at Erikos between his fingers.
"I am not still drunk, and trust me, everyone is eyeing you up. Just had to make sure they all knew you were off the market," Erikos said, grinning widely at the state Daus was in. He leaned forward, pressing a kiss to Daus' forehead before returning to his pile of food
Daus chuckled and shook his head faintly, finally lowering his hands after a few moments before glancing around the room tentatively. Sure enough, there were a few tables looking off into their direction. "Well, consider yourself my first boyfriend who has ever done that for me," he answered, grinning as he motioned towards the table. He was still a bit surprised that Erikos wanted to go out with someone like him, but hey, he wasn't complaining.
"Well, that means I'm the only good one," Erikos said, grinning widely as he beamed at Daus. "You're just too damn cute. Gotta make sure that you and everyone else knows that," he said. Though he couldn't help the warm, happy feeling rising in his chest. Boyfriend? He liked the sound of that
Daus felt a broad smile spread across his face at the sound of Erikos' comment, an almost giddy feeling growing in his chest. "You're cute, and hot and literally every possible thing," he answered, taking a bite of his cookie as he continued to look towards Erikos.
