“M’not,” Erikos protested, though it sounded more like a faint mumble. He was drifting off as well, the other’s presence providing a soothing effect that lulled him closer and closer to sleep. He pressed a final kiss to Daus’ neck before letting his head rest against the other’s chest
"Are too…" Daus mumbled, a yawn escaping him as he leaned back against the couch, a small smile tugging the corners of his lips up. At this point, he was way too tired to convince Erikos that they were adorable. After a few minutes, Daus seemed to fall asleep, his chest rising and falling softly against Erikos. He didn't usually sleep, though being next to the other man seemed to help him drift off.
Erikos had dozed off as well, his face pressed into the crook of Daus’ neck as he snored softly. He was normally a restless sleeper, but being around such a calming presence all but knocked him out
(oof, sorry that I left for so long. Should we time skip?)
Daus cracked an eye open, rubbing his face as a throbbing pain already begun in his head, though he could barely remember what he had been doing for the last few hours as he began to look around at where he was. Why are you in someone's cabin? He yawned and shifted a bit, a confused look registering on his face as he felt someone on top of him. Looking down, a small smile slowly crossed Daus' face as he recognized the other man as Erikos.
Erikos had made a small noise as Daus shifted, and he ended up cuddling even more against Daus' chest in response. He let out a long yawn but seemed otherwise still asleep
"Hey, sleepyhead," Daus teased softly, wrapping his arms around Erikos loosely as he tugged the other closer. He pressed a soft kiss to Erikos' forehead before letting his eyes fall shut again, glad to be around the other man.
Erikos mumbled something inaudible in response, shifting a little in Daus' grasp as he smiled softly. He tilted his head a little, near blindly jabbing Daus with one of his antlers in an attempt to nuzzle into his neck
Daus laughed a bit as he felt Erikos' antler skim against his cheek, though he realized he could have easily been impaled by them. He tugged Erikos closer, enjoying the way they nuzzled into their shoulder like that.
"Cuddles 're nice," Erikos finally mumbled. He had a small headache at the moment, but being near Daus helped him forget the throbbing. He pressed his face a little closer to Daus' face, trying to get more contact against his horns
Daus hummed in agreement, smiling softly as he tilted his head down to press an affectionate kiss to Erikos' forehead. He laid back down against the couch, closing his eyes for a few moments as his pounding headache continued, though he was relieved that a bit of the pain from his burns began to dull.
Erikos frowned in concentration for a moment. He cracked an eye open, sitting up a little to press his and Daus' lips together. As he did this some of his venom brushed off on Daus, lessening the other's headache slightly
Daus kissed Erikos in return, rubbing their sides a bit hesitantly as he felt his headache lessen a tad. He broke away for a few moments, leaning back against the couch, not bothering to brush the curls that fell across his face away.
Erikos nuzzled back into the crook of Daus' neck when he broke away. "Like when you rub my sides," he mumbled. It was true, it felt nice. Especially after he spent all day messing around in the water
(Hm, should we add some angst it. I just realized this kind of became a one on one lmao)
Daus nodded as he continued to rub Erikos' sides, chuckling lightly at how the other man buried into his neck. "You're adorable," he mumbled, a small smile crossing his face as he pressed yet another kiss to Erikos' cheek.
(yes and yes)
"Am not," Erikos protested, though it was barely audible from the way he had his face pressed against Daus' neck. He honest-to-god giggled when Daus kissed him, though he didn't mind for once
(Let's see…is there anyone that Erikos knows or someone who hates him that could cause trouble?)
"Are too," Daus teased, pressing another kiss against Erikos' cheek just to hear him laugh again. "And you have the most adorable giggle," he added, chuckling lightly as he wrapped his arms around Erikos' middle loosely.
(well there is Damascus, he isn't a fan of Erikos bc he messes with his plans all the time)
Erikos giggled again, but cut himself off with a snort. "M' not adorable," he mumbled, and he tapped the side of Daus' cheek with an antler in proteset
(think he could work? I'll see if I can come up with stuff for Daus later on since this is my first time using him..so I don't have much.)
"You're so adorable it makes me want to hug you all day," Daus teased, pressing more kisses to Erikos' cheek and neck in an attempt to make them laugh again. It was honestly a sound that he enjoyed, so he wanted to hear more of it.
(it's all good, I don't have much for Erikos at the moment either lol)
Erikos couldn't help but start giggling again. "Quit that, I have a reputation," he managed between laughs. Truth be told he didn't really mind, but he wouldn't tell Daus that
"You…a reputation? Sure about that?" Daus teased, a joking tone clear in his voice as he continued to press a few final kisses to Erikos' cheek. He leaned back, rubbing his face before he unwrapped his burns' bandages a bit, checking on them for a few moments.
"I eat people you know," Erikos huffed, rolling onto his back but still laying half on top of Daus. "Don't call my place the Deadman's River for nothing," he mumbled
"Well, you're a cute demon and part-time people-eater," Daus joked, slinging one arm across Erikos' middle loosely as he nudged his head into their shoulder, closing his eyes for a few moments. He rarely slept, so he was trying to get as much rest as he possibly could. "Should we get up soon?" Daus mumbled, glancing up at Erikos in question.
"We're on vacation, we could not move for the next century and no one could stop us," Erikos muttered before yawning. Unfortunately his stomach began to growl, which meant he had to get up
