" Caleb I'm pregnant I just took the test I understand if you don't want to stick around" she said

Caleb choked. It was way too early for… himself to show up on the pregnancy test… He took a deep, shuddering breath. "Who?" was all he said.

Briar sat on her couch you haven't spoke to Caleb in a few weeks of course she started getting morning sickness so she bought a pregnancy test and took it and of course she was pregnant with Caleb's baby she was scared to tell him cuz she didn't want to lose him again

Caleb was on a hiking trail, running like mad. He was trying to clear his head and failing. 'I haven't been able to talk to Briar in a few weeks… I've been so busy that whe I get a moment to sit down and try to call her, I just pass out. I managed to try and call her a few times, but she never picked up. I left several voicemails…' He slowed to a stop on the trail, huffing and puffing. When he finally caught his breath, he yanked out his phone, thanking whatever god was out there that he had reception out here, and punched the speed-dail for Briar. "Please pick up, please pick up, please-" he muttered under his breath

Broar gulped as she saw the phone ring she carefully picked it up and put it to her ear after clicking answer "h-hello' she said

Caleb sighed in relief. "Oh thank gods. You haven't been picking up. I was worried something happened to you. You're alright then?"

She nodded,"I'm fine" she answered kind of harshly

Caleb jerked a little at her tone. "I-I'm sorry… I sh-shouldn't have been bugging you. I'm sorry, I'll leave you alone, I'm sorry." He stumbled over his words, worried he did something wrong and maybe she was mad at him.

She side, "no I'm sorry it's just the mood swings'

Caleb was confused. "Mood swings??" He relaxed, but only just.

" . . . Caleb I'm pregnant"she said

Caleb froze, his brain trying to process what she said, consequentially not saying a word, his end silent.

"I understand if you don't want to be with me anymore if you want to leave completely understandable" she said

Caleb finally spoke, and you could clearly hear the tears in his voice. "Are you kidding Briar? Are you joking? I…" he paused and sniffed a bit, wiping his eyes. "I'm so happy… I'm so so so sosososo so happy!"

She cried out " oh my God" she cried

Caleb fought back choking tears as he said, "C-can I come over…?"

She nodded " yeah you can come over" she said
