Lizzie had preoccupied herself with looking out the windows at the pretty flowers that had bloomed as her mom and Caleb kissed. When breakfast was served, she dug in with a smile "Thanks!"

Caleb ruffled Lizzie's hair. "No problem kiddo." He smiled wistfully at the hungry child as she dug in before sighing and turning to clean up.
