Farah leaned against the wall in shock. She blinked rapidly, but didn't say anything.

" are you okay farah?" she asked softy

Farah looked as if she was in a daze. “When she touched you…” she whispered, her mind trying to piece the situation together.

" she must have broke into eves mind.."

Farah sighed heavily. "Rosalind always has a plan," she murmured, closing her eyes. "And now I've had you two dragged into it."

" we dragged our own selves into it.."

Farah opened her eyes. "Do you realize how complicated her magic is?"

"i do but i dont think eve does.."

Eve frowned. "What's that supposed to mean?" she asked. "Rosalind is in my mind. How would I not know how complicated her magic is?"

"…" anya looked away

"Anya, what did you mean?" Eve demanded.

" you ever been forced to the ground an your own magic used against you eve?" she asked

Eve inhaled swiftly and didn't reply. Anya already knew the answer.

"Anya." Farah's tone held a warning.

" im sorry but she asked." anya said softly

"The point is, Eve, when it comes to Rosalind, I know what I'm talking about, and so does Anya to some degree." Farah closed her eyes again.

anya nuzzled into eves neck, her hand tracing up and down eves back where farah couldn't see.

Eve sighed quietly. "Alright. What am I supposed to do then?"

" be careful, shut her out.."

Farah nodded. "Anya's right. And I can help you with that. In the meantime, you should be out there, not in here," she murmured, reaching out and cupping Eve's cheek gently.

anya sighed. " come on eve.." she said softly

Farah smiled softly. "I trust you," she whispered.

Eve nodded. "Okay." She let Anya lead her out, leaving Farah alone again.

" you okay?" she asked softly

"How can my mother trust me when I don't even trust myself?" Eve whispered.

" because she believes in you."

"And what have I done to earn that?" Eve asked. "I yelled at her after she practically risked her life for me."
