She stopped when she saw the deviant, “There,” She said to Devan, “Good thing she was so close.”
KT turned when she heard whispering. Humans.
“Hey, over here, need somewhere safe to stay?”
KT frowned. She didn't trust the strangers. They were possible hostiles. "What makes you think I need refuge?" She questioned, gripping her weapons more firmly.
(does KT still have her LED on?)
“I heard the announcement, you’re still wearing that facility uniform and your hiding in a side allyway. If you didn’t need help you’d be out there,” She gestured with her head, “We’ll help you, just come with us…”
(Her what?)
Nyx found the display in front of her completely disgusting and heart braking. People were being sold, Well by law they aren't people, but for Nyx it was hard to see them any other way. They had faces and names, they even understood emotions. Many people have asked her how she could be an android sympathizer considering that she was programer and engineer. She should know better than anyone they were just machines, But it's not that easy. It was for that same reason she sympathized with them she could see just how similar they are.
She looked around a flagged down a sales clerk, "Yes, hello, I'm Johanna Constantine and I was hoping to purchase an android today." Nyx said falling into one of the identities she used when she did not want to use her real name or street name.
(Androids have LED lights on the sides of their heads. I put it in the first post. Most Deviants remove them to look more human)
KT frowned. No doubt it was a trick. They were from the facility. "Where exactly? And why should you be trusted?"
(Oh yeah! Would augmented humans have one?)
(I don't think so)
“We’re from Jericho, its a…” She looked at Devan, “Safe haven for androids like you and my friend here. Please we don’t have much more time.”
KT scowled. She studied the human and the android. The human seemed truthful enough. If she proved to be a lier, KT could escape. Terminate her and the android if necessary. "Fine."
Elide relaxed her shoulders a little, “Great, come on. We don’t want Jericho to be found so we have to hurry.”
"We've already risked a lot staying out this long. Hurry." Devan turned back towards Jericho, looking around cautiously.
KT nodded, following them.
“Well have to scan her for any tracking beacons.” Elide muttered to Devan.
Devan nodded, turning around to scan the girl. "Most trackers in Androids are eliminated when they become Deviant, but we have to take precautions."
(Should he realize that she's not an Android?)
(Idk, maybe not?)
(She could have enough things implanted in her so that she reads as an android or close to one.)
(Okay sounds good)
Crap. She had forgotten the tracker.
(Yis)
“Good idea.” She nodded and entered her access code ad entered the yard.
