"What's the objective?" KT asked, fingering her knife.

“To retrieve some Blue Blood and spare parts, to help the other Deviants that come here. We’re running out of resources to fix them, resulting in more deaths and we want to change that.”

KT nodded. "I'll join. Any particular orders?" She asked, eyeing Elide.

“You and Devan have to go in a retrieve the parts and blue blood. I’m gonna be i the control centre, taking out the cameras. You have to get in and out with the parts and do it quickly.”

KT nodded. "Okay. When do we leave?"

“Now.” She said with a smirk

"Make sure you don't look like an Android. It might make this easier." Devan explained. "And try not to hurt anyone. That's not what we do."

KT nodded, deciding to partially ignore the last order. If they were going up against the people who made/programmed her, she wasn't going to give them mercy.

Nxy resisted the urge to groan audibly, Why just why can't humans show some god damn compassion, she took a deep breath be a the type of person you want to meet She looked over a Kaleb whose LED was yellow and back to the girl, "Would you like to come stay with us?"

Audrey was shocked, why was this stranger helping her? "I shouldn't impose on you like this, I'm not useful. People buy Androids for a purpose, and I don't have one anymore!" She rubbed her arm nervously, "B-but, if you are offering… Then, I guess it would be okay. I'll stay with you."

"That is not how life works, humans don't have a clear and set out purpose," Nxy looked down at the girl, "you'll learn something new eventually no need to rush."

"Let's go." Devan commanded, climbing down the latter that led into Jericho. He jumped down from the fifth rung and onto the pavement below. The cold winter wind made him glad that he was an Android that didn't get cold.

"You don't have a purpose?" Audrey asked. This confused her, it had always been drilled into her that she was to have a purpose. Not having a purpose… Audrey smiled, that seemed nice.

"Well there are wants, needs and responsibilities, but some times you just don't have a purpose or you can lose. You can normally find one later in life, but that always takes time." Nxy pointed out, "I'm sure you'll find one."

"Woah," Audrey said in awe. Humans are so weird, but, in a good way I guess. "So, I can be whatever I want? That so, wow. I think I'm going to like it here!"

"Alright then," she smiled, "I live on the other side of town so we do have a ways to go before we get home."

"Okay!" Audrey smiled brightly. Unbeknownst to her, Audrey's LED began flickering.
