@ElderGod-Carrots
(Helloooooooooo)
(Helloooooooooo)
(Hello)
(What’s been going on while I‘ve been away? Anything I should read through?)
(We haven't started but a few new characters might have shown up.)
(I was going to wait until @TheLavenderOwl got back before starting)
(Okay, I’m gonna have to leave but I’ll be back in an hour or so)
(Heyo! I'm here! Thanks for waiting!)
(Hey! Is anyone else here?)
(Hi!)
(Hello)
(Sup)
(I'm going to write a starter hold on…)
Devan sighed, leaning back against the wall. Another Android, gone. The previous day, two Androids had shown up to Jericho. They were both severely damaged, and one of them died shortly after arriving. The second one had passed a few minutes ago, leaving the atmosphere of Jericho more melancholy then usual.
//hi
(Could Elide already be friends with Devan? Or not)
(Sure!)
Elide walked up to Devan, two cups of coffee in her hand, “Hey, don’t beat yourself up about it, there was nothing we could do.” She held out the cup.
Devan pushed the cup back to her. "Androids don't need to drink, but thanks for the gesture."
“Oh, right, yeah… sorry,” She set the cup down and sat across from the Android.
Devan sighed again. "What are we even doing? Androids flee to Jericho for safety, but we have nothing here to help them. This isn't a safe haven, it's a graveyard."
(Heyo.)
ATTENTION: Prototype KT-56 has gone rogue. She is now a Deviant. Terminate on sight.
That was what everyone in the compound had called her. Rogue. Deviant. KT-56 crouched in an alley, clutching a knife and pistol she had taken from a now dead guard. She had been an effective soldier, programed to kill and obey orders without a second thought. But her manufacturers had thought otherwise when she had turned violent without authorization in a conditioning session. A simple slip up in programming perhaps. Nothing a little reconditioning couldn't fix. But that hadn't worked. KT had decided she could create her own orders, and that she didn't want to take their orders. Simple as that.
Apparently it wasn't that simple. She had been sent to further sessions, with orders to be reprogrammed to wipe away what they had called 'sentience'. KT had escaped, deciding she preferred sentience.
She glanced over her shoulder, keeping a lookout for potential hostiles. She needed to find refuge.
“Well, we’ll figure that out later but… there’s a new deviant. Come on.” She smiled and stood up making sure her Anroid friend was following.
Devan nodded, regaining his perfect posture and following Elide. "We need to be careful. Well, I need to be careful."
Elide smirked, “Let’s be quick then.” She grabbed a gun and walked out into the junk yard.
KT rounded the corner. She needed to find something to cover the facility uniform she was in.
