"nah it's fine. You were right anyway, I was being rude and invasive. I should have waited." She continued to eat her mac and cheese. "A weird ripple? A little bit yeah actually now that I think about it." She thought back to her moment with Ignis and it made her smile just a little bit. "I'm sorry about earlier too, I should have respected your guys boundaries. And for calling her a brat because I was frustrated."
Noel sighed and met Kali’s eyes. “I accept your apology.”
Alister smiled proudly at his sister before looking back to Kali. “I do too. I hope we can be become good friends.”
(Elementals have the ability of an element, along with magic. Magic users have no element but are more skilled in magic than any other. They have Guardians but they are more common than Elemental's.)
"yeah, maybe." She gave him a thumbs up, with a more or less still dead face. But honestly it's just her normal expression at this point.
Ignis went around the building, informing all others to head to the lobby. He became frustrated and annoyed. Angel, secure the building. Make sure NOTHING gets through. His eyes changed as he heard Angel's voice, Of course. You are much like your Father. Ignis smiled but lost it quick.
The siblings finished off a few more bites before getting up and going to the lobby. Alister’s mind raced. Is this about the strange ripple? If Kali had felt it as well, then Ignis must have to, right? And that horrible feeling of being watched… he shuddered.
The look in Noel’s eyes told him she was thinking the same thing. Or perhaps a million other things.
Angel stood in front of the lobby door, her wings hidden and her stance prideful. Ignis remained at the lobby as Amara walked in with Yin and Yang, the pups. "What the hell is going on? What's with the meeting? The lockdown?"
Kali arrived downstairs as well, in the lobby with everyone else, Kros was down there as well watching the entry points as well as listening.
"Somethings going on," she looked at ignis glancing around sometimes. "also ignis let a complete stranger into here and said he could stay with us like this is some sort of hotel."
"This place is protected by a special magic," Ignis replied not looking at her, "No mortal can come inside unless Amara or I allow. He must be of a greater origin. Elemental perhaps? Regardless."
“Oh…” Alister decided not to comment on that. “So… did you feel the same thing we felt, Ignis?”
“A weird ripple in the air? Is that what you said? And the feeling of being watched?” Noel elaborated.
"possible, just a matter of what element. Oh yeah I confronted him and he phased through me and the wall to try and escape me." She yawned a little. "there's something bigger going on though."
(Fyi starting school tomorrow)
(Oh good luck.)
Ignis fell to the ground as the sigil began to glow once more. "I-It's a…" Ignis tried hi best to get up but couldn't, "The gate are open…they are all set free…the creatures of myth have awakened…"
Kali leaped up to help him. "ignis?!" This was similar to the arcanis so she was a bit worried. She didn't like the sound of that at all. "wait you don't mean the…" The portal opened?…
"Shadows are coming…Beasts are coming," Ignis didn't notice Kali, he was stuck in a trance as he muttered words, "The world of man will fall. The age of chaos is here…"
The two siblings immediately moved closer to each other. The intense feeling of being watched returned, and Alister began to wonder if it was really just a feeling.
Alister wanted to go and help Ignis up, but there seemed to be eyes watching his every move. Almost like helping him was a bad thing… and if he was caught, he would be punished. He didn’t want to be punished. He’d been punished for too long. But… didn’t he deserve it? He was a monster, of course he deserved it.
Tears sprang in his eyes as he went to help Ignis.
Kali stood him up best she could. "Ignis!" She shook him a little bit, hoping that he would make her stop. She was trying not to panic, arcanis's voice hadn't shown up or talked to them but this wasn't better. She bit her trying to concentrate, she looked at Alister trying to help and he could see some fear in her eyes she was trying to fight.
Ignis's eyes lost all color and turned a milky grey color, "Onn av nevw. Onn vkonn henn ov wku vmauv guvfuqg…"
Amara caught the words quickly, "All is lost. All shall fall as the skies descend…"
Okay one thing, Kali isn't very good under pressure, especially if something's going on thst pertains with her friends/people she cares about. She didn't want to resort to violence since it might just make things worse, but she didn't know what else to do so she might have shook him harder …"Ignis stop spewing random crap!" Trying so hard not to panic, or cry. She really didn't want to cry right now, she just couldn't loose him. She couldnt, Amara wasn't as bad as he was right now so her thoughts on her weren't up front. She still cared for Amara of course.
(Okay so I don't usually sleep this early but I'm going to bed so I won't be able to have Kali respond, I would like it if you guys could like maybe paste a response and then wait to continue? I apologise if this sounds really selfish since I continue on without other people. So if it's really selfish them just like, ignore this.)
Ignis slowly turned to Kali and Alister. He immediately grabbed their arms and they recieved a vision.
They stumbled onto what seemed to be ruins of the building. They could see, and communicate with each other. The very environment as real as it could possibly be. To their left, a short distance away, was Amara being eaten by a winged demon. To their right, Rais bones on fire as it seems he was headed to the tower. In front Ignis's body hung crucified with "Dead Magic" engraved into his chest. He was dead. Appearing next to him was a being of pure energy. The vision ended as Ignis fell unconscious.
Kali screamed from the vision she saw pulling away and stumbling back landing on her butt. "W-w-wha-" she stuttered trying to find the words and they wouldn't come out, she noticed ignis falling and dove to catch him making sure his head didn't hit the ground. Fresh hot tears running down her face, she didn't saw anything choosing to remain silent. She played with Ignis's hair as she reviewed the vision in her mind.
Amara was shocked and confused. She rushed to Ignis, revealing the sigil. Her response was utter fear surrounding her. She freaked and stood immediately, "That's a shadow mark! He…He's a Shadow!"
