"Parents shop. Good, you won't get lost then. Stay safe kid, don't except candy from strangers, I gotta go!" he turned around and ran back towards the beam of light coming through the trees.

Sage waved, running back to town, slipping through alleyways and finally reaching her parent's shop, running straight to her room, finding comfort in the paper gazes of 60s and 70s band posters.

Aria noticed the girl run into the shop, and decided to turn around and go somewhere else. Where? She had no clue. Rain started to pour down on her head, and Aria ran into an alleyway, trying to find something to shield herself. She noticed a discarded table, with part of one leg missing. It was tilted on its side, so all the rain was sliding down and away from the dry spot under it. Aria crawled under the table, pulling some old furniture and garbage cans on either side, to serve as makeshift walls. And it was there where the girl sat for the rest of the night, watching the rain fall.

Ignis ran back to the seal as he felt a great power overwhelm him, "No!" He felt the rain begin as he quickly made his way through the forest. When he approached the seal, he was in shock. Legends speak of the great seals. Astra, Ignatias, Celestia, and Riott, the four elementals had used their magic to keep dark secrets away. Before man, there were beasts.

Sage sat on her bed, staring into space as she tried to process what had just happened. Something went wrong back there… something that wasn't supposed to happen.

Marlin was standing by the seal, being drenched in the rain when he saw Ignis. "Hello there."he said waving "Back with more about elementals I assume?"

Deleted user

Ignis looked up at Marlin with his horrified face unmoved. Then his face went dark, he looked at Marlin with a dark expression, "Run…" A shockwave burst out and travelled as far as past the village.

Marlin stumbled backwards and fell against a tree. "What- Astra? Ignis what's going on." He curled his fists, ready for the worst. "What's happening?"

Deleted user

Pushed back by the shockwave, Ignis slammed against a nearby tree. "There's another who must have powered the seal! It's breaking!" A white flame escaped Ignis's chest as he cried out, the flame travelled into the seal. Now weak, Ignis looked at Marlin, "RUN!!"

Marlin grabbed Ignis by his collar and sprinted away dragging Ignis behind him "Does this happen often or…" he shook his head and just kept running.

Ignis pulls away but continues running, "Shut up! I am a fool for ever letting any of you know about me! How is it none of you know of your abilities? I give you knowledge of the past, and you accuse me of any of this?!" Ignis felt strange, as if something was wrong. As they ran out of the forest Ignis stopped., "I-It's gone…"

Deleted user

"Why would I want to use my ability?" Marlin snapped. "It's useless." He held his hand out collecting water in his palm. "My 'powers' or whatever have never helped me before." Marlin threw the water on the ground and turned to look at the forest, feeling slightly irritated he had been dumb enough to admit he had magic.

Ignis saw Marlin's ability and grabbed his arm, almost by instinct. Dragging Marlin along, Ignis ran back through the forest and towards the seal.

"We were JUST running away from this!" yelled Marlin, trying to get away from Ignis. "I am just about done with all this running to and from the stupid glowy thing."

Deleted user

Ignis ignored Marlin's words, his own mind screaming over all other noise. As he rushed Marlin back to the seal, he seemed to constantly whisper under his breath. As they moved through trees and roots, Ignis's grip remained firm. When they approached the seal, now slightly open, Ignis forced Marlin's hand on the seal. "Descendant of Astra, child of water. You can seal it once again! Use your gift to correct the mistake I made!"

Deleted user

He scowled at Ignis, but kept his hand on the seal.Water flew from every direction, gathering under Marlin's palm, and covering the seal's opening.

As the they awkwardly waited as the water finished to seal the seal, Ignis's skin began to pale. His eyes rolled to the back of his head. As the seal closed Ignis spoke softly as he smiled creepily, "We have awakened… we are the darkness that will soon take the world…" Then Ignis collapsed, cold to the touch.

Marlin stared at Ignis' body. Then he kicked it. "You alive, creepy man?"
Ignis didn't respond. "Ah, frick." Marlin flicked a bit of water on his face. "Wake up, wake up, waaake up!" He started pacing back and forth ignoring the faint glow of the seal. "Please don't die." he whispered, struggling to kept panic out of his voice.

Deleted user

"If you die, it'll look like I killed you." he muttered picking up Ignis' body and trying to carry it out of the woods. "If you're trying to frame me for murder there are better ways to do that."

Ignis's skin returned to normal and soon after awakened. His iris in his eyes were completely black instead the fiery orange and red. His expression confused and lost. "What…What happened? Did It work?! Is it… no… it's fine." As he began to lay back down and he immediately jumps up in surprise, "I…I can't!"

Deleted user

"Can't what?" asked Marlin. "What's wrong with you?" Marlin grabbed his shoulder. "Don't you dare go back in that woods, because if you do I'm not coming to rescue you."

Deleted user

Ignis stared at Marlin with an evil stare. Immediately after, He ran back into the village as fast as he could. Realizing his fire was gone, Ignis began panic. His heart raced as his blood ran cold. Then he stopped and saw a shadowy figure walk past him. What is happening to me?!

Marlin stood there watching Ignis run away. "Yeah, well, I don't like you either." he yelled. He wondered if he sould follow, but Ignis would probably just run away again. Marlin was tired, and wet, and angry he'd been tricked into using his 'magic' again. He wandered back into the village, making his way to the dorms he was supposed to sleep in.
