Aria giggled to herself from her perch, giddy at the realization that she still hadn't been noticed. She smiled softly at the scene below, watching intently.

"No, obviously it wasn't the fire elemental that set everything on fire." snapped Marlin. He wasn't even sure why he was angry with this girl, but he was tired and frustrated, and she was making it worse.

"Yes is so obvious, just like the obvious fact of us being watched by an unknown party but lets just pretend they're not and just keep talking." she sneered back at him.

"It was my fault." Ignis looks down, "And I'm the BASTARD that released the Shadows…" Ignis cutched his fists.

"well i know insulting yourself isnt going to help our situation. so you screwed up big deal its in the past now we just gotta figure out a way to put them back or destroy them." she watched people walk by. "the forest will grow back, its not the end of the world."

"Unknown party is there someone stalking us that you forgot to mention?"

"well i just heard someone giggling but cant pin point who, so there is an unknown party but I thought at least one of you would have noticed their presence but I guess not" she huffed. "they sound female, and familiar."

Aria raised an eyebrow, scuttling further back on the roof, still trying to stifle her laughter. She hopped to another rooftop, her bare feet making no sound as she landed.

Ignis smiled, "I liked the silent one. Although she makes no noise, her other senses gives it away." His voice was off and he continued to stare down

she turned her head towards Ignis. "he's being weird. like weirder then normal. fix him." she pushed marlin towards Ignis.

Remaining staring down, he quickly grabbed Marlin and held him firmly, "But I have to say….You are the star of the show! This idiot may have cracked our lock, but you are the one who made him slip!" He lifts his head and his eyes were blacked fully. "All of you are the ones who are blind. Astra never liked us! Neither did the others. We will open the seals. And w it will be you lot to watch the world burn."

"Ah i see. hes being possessed isnt that just so nice." she stared at Ignis. she pulled out a mini black cross and walked over to ignis. "The power of christ compels you!"

The cross melts as it burns her hand, "Religion? You honestly think it exists? Soon the Shadows will show humanity what it truly lost"

"ow- stupid shadow possessing ignis!" she punched ignis in the face hoping to knock him out.

No effect made to Ignis, but could see a shadow almost leave Ignis. Only to have it put back, "Wow! Almost as strong as our weakest. We could use a precious one lime you!"

"dont even think about it." she punched ignis again.

This time Ignis turned to normal short before her second punch, "MOTHER-" the hit he felt as he fell. Ignis looked at Kali while releasing Marlin.

"hey it actually left him this time." she beamed a little with pride thinking she saved him from being possessed. "welcome back Ignis."

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" Ignis snapped, his eyes flashed a ray of red before returning to normal black eyes, "I-I…I'm sorry. I was so close…"

ahahah isnt that fun. thats the same thing her dad yelled at her before him and her mom had a huge argument that ended up with him leaving them. her eyes had a shadow cast over them and she looked down at the ground. "…." she didn't respond, simply pulling a hood over her head.

Ignis couldn't help but feel vulnerable. He lost his very essence, his special flame. The Eternal Flame. He looked at Kali, clearly affected by his words, "I…I'm sorry. I was so close on stealing what was once mine. Shadows are able to influence their themselves through others. I don't think they know the door is open both ways." He sits with his legs crossed, "I shouldn't have snapped the way I did…"

She was still looking at the ground, she clutched her left arm sqeeuzing it with her right hand. she didn't seem to process what he had said. was she shaking?… "You wanna know whats wrong with me?…..Its this stupid element…I didn't choose this…i didn't want this…Yet I was cursed with this…it ruined my life…if I could get rid of it…i would…." She inhaled a little shaky breath. eventually calming herself down.

Ignis remembered Marlin's words. It echoes in his head now mixed with Kali's. "Not a curse," Ignis's expression turned dark yet not possessed, "A power given to those born with magic blood. Losing your element would be like…a human losing a soul? I am more broken than you know."

"cool guess were both broken then. it may be a gift to you, you may think this is amazing but to me? its just the thing that ruined my life. to me its a curse." she sighed. "besides your not the one stuck with darkness fire elemental"
