//they said they were going to meet Theo to discuss plans earlier
( Oh yeah, right. Sorry I got confused. )
( What should the plan be? Do you have any ideas for the plot? )
//well, since we’re going with the kind of Harry Potter “girl who escaped the republic thing” maybe Theo wants to take like some pictures? ya know, like promo shots for a movie
except cooler than Daniel radcliffe’s
//plot-wise… we can say the government has a whole branch dedicated to taking down the Patriots/all rebellion now
( Hm, sounds good. )
Theo looked up from Rylan's leg. "The government now has a whole branch to taking down all rebellions, including the Patriots. We could continue to corrupt the Republic, and I was wondering if you guys would like to help."
“Corruption? That sounds fun. Especially with corrupt governments,” she grinned. “Rylan?”
She nodded and glanced at Santiago. "We could help. What do you have in mind?"
"Well, we could use a few more Runners." He explained, looking at Rylan. "And, what are your specialties?" Theo asked, turning towards Santiago and Harlow.
“I’m good with a gun. Better than when you last saw me,” she added, poking fun. “Parkour’s kind of my thing. Okay with infiltration. Not good at basically everything else.”
"You could be another Runner along with Rylan." Theo nodded, turning towards Santiago.
"He's good with tech." Rylan explained.
“So yeah. Hacking stuff. Do you guys hack things?” She asked Theo.
(Lets say that Flynn went to somewhere to mess up they communication stuff so they won't find us and in the way she lost any type of communication with you guys but now she is coming back?)
(Sounds good.)
Santiago nodded in agreement with what Rylan said. “I have my own equipment with me, so you wouldn’t need to provide anything,” he said in a level tone.
Theo nodded. "We hack to get into the Republic databases. Good thing that we get another Hacker. We don't have many anymore."
Santiago nodded a second time, shifting his pack on his shoulder. “That would be extremely easy, I know the database very well.”
"Good," Theo replied, turning towards Rylan. "How does the leg feel?" The Medic was still kneeled by it, checking that it was working correctly.
"Feels good." She nodded. "It works even better than my old one."
"If it starts to hurt, come and find me." He smiled, turning around and walking back towards the computers.
Santiago’s eyes narrowed at Theo’s back as he walked away. He leaned back against a wall, brows furrowed in thought.
"You okay?" Rylan asked, glancing at Santiago.
Santiago nodded slowly, giving her a smile. “Still don’t like the way he looks at you, but I can deal with it.”
Rylan bit her bottom lip, glancing at Theo and thinking. "It's fine, he knows that I'm with you now." The Medic next to her stood up and told her a few things, then walked off to treat other patients.
“Good,” Santiago responded and moved to sit next to her. He looked down at her leg, then back up at her face. “Think you’ll get used to it?”
Rylan sighed, looking down at it. "I think I will. It's quite heavy. . . guess that's because I'm not very strong these days."
“You just need more time, it hasn’t been that long,” Santiago said, rubbing his thumb on Rylan’s knee.
She nodded, holding Santiago's other hand. "Is your shoulder feeling alright too?"
