Santiago shifted his gaze to the sling his arm was in. “It usually aches, but it feels fine at the moment.”

"The Medics did a good job." Rylan replied, looking from his sling to his face. Hopefully Alec isn't still alive. . . She thought, then pushed it away. Now wasn't the time to worry about him.
“Mhm, they said I should be out of this sling in the next week or so,” Santiago said. He was seriously hoping it was true, it was annoying to only be limited to the major use of one arm.
She nodded. "What do you think of Theo's proposal? Helping the Patriots with their plans."
“I would be glad to help them,” Santiago said, “But it will most likely be extremely dangerous, Rylan.”
"Yeah," Rylan sighed. "But, I'm always up for a little danger." She finished, grinning.
“Everything we do is dangerous,” Harlow pointed out. “We’re all fugitives.”
Santiago looked between the two. “I am so not used to this yet..” he murmured. “Okay, Let’s do it then.”
She nodded, sensing his unease. "It'll be okay. . .don't worry."
“Yeah, I’ll try,” Santiago said, his foot tapping on the floor.
She sighed and leaned back against the chair she was sitting in. A couple Patriots walked around, wearing disguises. Some were dressed as dancers, others as Republic pilots. Rylan looked down at the Republic air force jacket Theo had given her. She furrowed her brow and jogged her memory back. He had already worn this. She slipped it off and glanced at Santiago, hoping that he wouldn't notice. Theo knows exactly what he's doing. Rylan frowned, looking at him.
Santiago threw a quick glance at Rylan, but didn’t say anything. He crossed one leg over the other loosely. “So what are we doing now, wating for orders?”
"Yeah, probably. It's late though." She explained.
“Where are we going to rest, then?” Santiago questioned further.
"Theo showed me some of the rooms when I was trying my leg out after the surgery. They're past the infirmary." She stood up, picking up the jacket. Theo would probably want it back.
“Let’s go on ahead then,” Santiago said, getting up as well and beginning to walk toward the infirmary area.
They walked into a room with bunks. Some people were already in some, towards the furthest wall. "This would be it. There are some showers over there." She motioned towards a couple doors.
//gonna pretend stuff happened and harlow’s Somewhere here
Harlow stepped out of the showers, her hair still wet. “Hi,” she said, walking over.
Santiago looked around and walked to a random unused bunk, tossing his bag onto it. He waved to Harlow when she approached, giving her a smile.
“How are you guys? Been a stressful few days.”
“Stressed, but decent. You?” Santiago asked, looking over at Harlow.
“Okay. The last time I got this much excitement was when I was first on the run though, so tired.”
“It is late, you should rest then,” Santiago suggested, sitting down on one of the beds.
“You guys probably should too,” she said, grinning. “Night, guys.”
“Yeah, night,” Santiago responded. He layed down on the cot on his back, just so his shoulder wouldn’t hurt.
