( Sorry, I had to go but now I'm back. Should something happen to her leg? )
Harlow sighed and stood up, going out to find Santiago. "Hey," she said, leaning on her uninjured arm. "How we doing?"
//well we don't want to amputate is, unless they have access to prosthetics or something
depending on how long it was left untreated, she could be fine after a while in a cast
(What did you have in mind, something serious or minor?)
Santiago looked up at Harlow and forced a slight smile. “Hey, and I’m doing fine, I just have to wear this sling for a few weeks. Is your shoulder okay?”
Flynn came back from her mission(Lol I dunno) and tried to contact Rylan
( Flynn can be with them )
"Basically the same as yours," she grinned. "Rylan isn't up yet, but the medics say she should be up soon.
One of the doctor's motioned for Santiago to come in, opening the doors. Inside, Rylan was sitting up in a bed and talking to Theo about the sectors. Some of the bruises were still on her face, but her cuts seemed to be healing.
Santiago nodded, looking relieved. “I really hope she’s okay.. do we know anything on what happened to Alec?”
"No," she told him. "Hey, Rylan's up." She got up and headed in. "How are you feeling?"
Santiago looked up, and resisted the urge to frown when he saw Theo in the room. He pushed off the gurney and went over to the side of the bed. “Rylan?” He said softly.
"Hey guys!" Rylan said, her face lighting up at the sight of them. "I'm doing alright. Just got a few prosthetics and some metal in my leg now. How about you guys?"
"We're good. Basically the same injury," Harlow laughed, sitting down. "Alec isn't very creative."
“Wait, prosthetics? Are you okay?” Santiago questioned, ignoring her own.
She lifted the blanket up and moved her leg to the side. What was under her knee was now replaced by metal. "The bone shattered from the two bullets. It couldn't be replaced, so amputating was the way to go." Rylan explained. "Theo said that one of their best Medics is here and worked on it."
Santiago’s throat clenched at the sight of it. “I’m so sorry..” he started, trailing off.
"Ouch," Harlow said, gently poking it.
// @urban pls reply to the other rp too
"Hey, it's fine. . ." Rylan said looking at Santiago. She laughed when Harlow touched it. "It's not that bad. We got your family out."
"Wait. . . does that mean I get to meet your parents?"
(Sorry, I opened it but I forgot to respond.)
Santiago smiled weakly and nodded slowly. “At some point, yes. Just to warn you, though, they’re worse at English than I am.”
"Don't worry, my parents spoke in Japanese whenever I did something bad. I barely understood them half of the time." Rylan smiled, remembering the games she would play with her siblings.
Santiago laughed weakly and nodded. “But really, are you okay?” He rested his hand on the side of her face gently.
Rylan nodded, covering Santiago's hand with her own. "I'm having a hard time remembering everything. . . but I'm okay." She smiled softly.
