(Uh they are going to like finish up with their talk soon probably, and then they can go in and tell Flynn the whole plan?)
Santiago’s jaw clenched tightly. “I’m not loosing you because of Alec,” he muttered, frowning.
(Uh they are going to like finish up with their talk soon probably, and then they can go in and tell Flynn the whole plan?)
Santiago’s jaw clenched tightly. “I’m not loosing you because of Alec,” he muttered, frowning.
"You're not going to lose me. . . I promise." Rylan looked towards the house and back towards Santiago. {This might as well be one of your last nights with him. . . if the plan doesn't work} She thought as she sighed.
“I really hope that’s a promise that we are able to keep,” Santiago said and ran a hand through his hair, tugging lightly at the thick strands.
Rylan nodded, not really sure what to say. "I'll try." She looked towards the sky, up at the stars. There were only a few, the rest drowned out by the sector's lights. Her thoughts wandered towards her execution, wondering what it would be like once she was in front of all those crowds of people. And Alec. . . holding the gun.
Santiago exhaled softly, glancing to her. He suddenly reached out and grabbed onto her upper arm, tugging her against his chest. He bit the inside of his cheek, his mind lingering on his family. He wondered if the plan they came up with was the best thing to do.
Rylan leaned against Santiago's chest, sighing softly. She looked towards the woods, wishing this moment would last forever and that she wouldn't need to go to the Ruby sector tomorrow.
Santiago rested his chin on top of Rylan’s head, letting his eyes shut. He blocked out the worried thoughts of his family and the execution, concentrating on the rhythm of her breathing.
“Hey, Santiago- oh, I’m sorry, am I interrupting a moment again?” Harlow started, wincing at her bad timing.
Santiago sat up straight and shook his head. “You’re fine, what’s up?”
“Are we taking your family back here or to the Patriots?”
“They’d be safer with the Patriots, most likely,” Santiago suggested.
“Alright,” she said, fidgeting nervously. “Well… I guess we should get moving.”
Rylan opened her eyes at Harlow's voice. "Oh. . . hey. We're going?" She asked, sitting up.
“I guess we should,” she muttered, shifting her feet. “Don’t want to give them extra time to think of a plan.”
Rylan nodded, rubbing her eyes tiredly. "Yeah, then we'll need to call Alec again. While I'm getting 'executed' you guys can get Santiago's family. The Patriots will help us. . . hopefully."
“Eh… it might not be best for me to be the diplomat there. I don’t think they like me,” she smiled, walking closer. “Here’s a phone.”
//do u guys mind if I try to put this in story format
( What do you mean? )
//like turn this rp into a story
It’d be basically the same just as a story
( sure, if you'd like to )
//great, on with the rp?
( Yep. )
Rylan took the phone and called Alec, glancing at Santiago as she waited for him to answer. Finally, Alec's voice spoke up.
"Hello, Ms. Devera." He said. She could almost hear him smiling. "When can we bring you to Ruby?"
"Tomorrow night. Ten o'clock. We'll be around the border of Lake and Alta." She answered, hoping it wouldn't give too much information away. "Once we're there, we can send you our location."
"Perfect. And Santiago's family. . . they'll be spared." Alec sighed.
Rylan shook her head, knowing that wouldn't actually happen. Once they made a deal with the Patriots, they would have a promised deal. "Thanks. I hope you'll keep your promise. We'll call you back soon." She hung up and turned towards Santiago and Harlow.
Harlow winced and shifted again. Good luck, she mouthed to Rylan.
Rylan sighed and leaned back against a tree, closing her eyes. Just make it through a couple days in Ruby. . . then you'll be saved by the Patriots. She told herself, hoping it was true.
