James raised his hand, “We have a couple, yes. Why? What type of explosives?”
James raised his hand, “We have a couple, yes. Why? What type of explosives?”
"Explosives concentrated and powerful enough to collapse a sizeable, multi-layer underground base. We'll be needing those once we're done to make sure Ryker can never rebuild and try again. While the main force is attacking, you guys can come through either the front or the back and plant the charges while we're getting out the kids. Just as long as they don't go off until everyone's far away. Think you can do that?"
James nodded, “Yes, I think that’s possible. We have sonic bombs that could do the job, although if anyone gets caught in the explosion then it can do major damage to internal organs…”
"Well then, we'll have to stay completely coordinated so that doesn't happen. What's the size of the blast range?"
“Depends on the side of the bomb. Biggest one is about a mile or so.”
"Hmh. That's probably a little too big. Can you direct them downward rather than outward?"
“It’s possible, yes. But it might take a little while to change some of the mechanics. But I’ll see what they can do.”
"Okay, keep us posted. Lesse, what else…..did we give everybody a job? Anybody have any suggestions?"
(gtg, havin supper)
“I think that’s everybody. I’ve got nothing else to add anyway.” Tanrial said.
“Same.” James said and Thranion nodded.
(Okay)
"Okie doke. We can have another shorter meeting if any more issues come up. Let's not plan on doing this attack tonight, we'll need time to rest up and prepare. Does tomorrow night work for everyone?"
“That works for me.” Thranion said, crossing his arms.
“I’ll see if we can get the bomb ready by tomorrow night. It should be doable though.” James said.
"Thanks, James. Thanks, everybody." Mike gave them all a nod and a little smile. "We can do this. Ryker might be expecting an attack, but he sure as heck won't be expecting all of you guys. Tanrial and Bernon and I….I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we're all incredibly grateful and honored that you came to help. So thank-you again."
“Don’t sweat it mate. Just helping out.” James said before standing, “Well, if we’re done here I’m going to go check on my men.”
“Me too.” Thranion said.
Dane, Polla, and Trouble got up as well and headed for the door. Rick grinned and put his hat on, turning it around backwards. "I'm gonna go see Miss Fear next, if nobody needs me. See y'all later."
Bernon waved goodbye and leaned back in his chair with a sigh. "Well, what do you guys think we should do next? It's not even noon yet."
( gotta go to bed sadly, seeya tomorrow)
Tanrial sighed a little and shrugged, "I don't know… we could always go swimming?"
(Seeya tomorrow)
"Really? I thought you didn't like swim–Oh wait, that's in your animal form only, isn't it?" Bernon sat up and glanced at Mike. "I guess swimming could be fun and a good exercise……what do you say, Mike?"
Mike was still studying the map with a distracted frown. "Hmm…….I guess. Sure. let's go swimming"
Bernon suddenly grinned. "Oboy, he said yes to some fun, Tanrial. We'd better hurry and get out to the lake before he changes his mind."
Tanrial giggled, “Probably a good idea. This might be our one chance to have some fun with him at this rate.”
(oof sorry I'm late)
Mike sighed and rolled up the map, standing up. "Fine, laugh while you can. You guys keep me humble, don't you?"
"'Course we do," Bernon replied, elbowing him. "Oh, and this time, let's not haul any more machinery out of the lake. Eh, Tanrial?"
(All g)
Tanrial nodded with a smile, “Yeah, let’s not do that. Unless it’s some secret treasure, let’s leave all things at the bottom of the lake.”
"Haha, very funny." Mike opened the tavern door and stepped out into the sunlight. "Good day for a swim, though. It'll be nice to relax a bit after the last few days."
Tanrial nodded and let out a breath, “Yup. I just hope the water isn’t too cold.”
Bernon had taken off his jacket and shoes and was already rolling up his sleeves. "Only one way to find out!" He ran across the beach and directly into the water, quickly getting deep enough to swim. "It's—it's not too bad! You'll get used to it pretty quick I think!"
Tanrial rolled her eyes a little but slipped off her shoes and followed, diving under the water for a moment, “You were right, not that bad. Come on Mike!”
Mike waded in calmly, only to have his feet pulled out from under him by Bernon. They went down with a huge splash and Bernon laughed underwater, which ended up being a mistake. Mike struggled to his feet and splashed Tanrial, grinning despite himself.
