Keri dropped her head and said "i really don't think so.. also you're pretty bad at trying to sound happy," Keri added smirking "well thanks for letting me talk sorry if i wasn't very good at it, i'll see you around?" She said standing up to leave.
Kate saw a guy sitting alone on one of the swings, so she decided to come by. Kate walked over to swings and sat next to Jordan, "Hey stranger, what's your name?"
Jordan looked up and saw a girl sitting on a swing beside him. "Um, I'm Jordan." He stuck his hand out for her to shake.
Liam rolled his eyes at the happy comment, “Want to walk with me? I’m not doing right now and I doubt you are… unless you are doing something…”
Kate took his hand, "My name's Kate, it's nice to meet you Jordan." She said with a nice tone.
"So, what are you doing around here?" He asked while kicking his legs up and down to start swinging.
"Im not doing anything right now" Keri said "Honestly im trying to avoid going home because then i'll have to talk "colors" with my mom… that wont be pretty." Keri got up and waited for liam to get up.
"I… um was supposed to meet up with a friend, but he never came." Her smile faded away. "What about you?"
"I usually come here everyday at, well, now and 10 p.m. It's nice to get some fresh air." He kicked so he went a bit higher, hearing the squeaking of the swings.
Goodnight.//
Liam stood, “At least you can talk colours wih someone…” He muttered, putting his hands in his pockets and starting down the pathway.
(Night!)
Kate nodded, "Ah, yes and seeing the beautiful nature and the colors. Speaking of colors… what colors can you see?" She started kicking her legs up and down to swing herself.
Keri asked quietly 'Why cant you talk colors?its ok if you don't answer…" She quickly caught up to him with her book clutched to her chest and they started walking.
“I have no one to talk colours with.” He explained, sighing, “The only two colours I can see are blue and purple…” He said quietly, not looking at Keri.
"i can only see one more color and the only reason i can is because i saw it when i was pretty young… it was also the first time i found out how painful seeing colors for me…" Keri said looking at the path "And you can always talk colors with me if you want…" She added, trailing off.
“Sure, maybe sometime I will talk colours with you.” He said, looking at Keri and giving her a small smile.
Keri smiled back, and felt a little happier saying"I'll hold you to that Liam." Keri's stomach growled reminding her that she hadn't ate much for breakfast that morning. She blushed and said "sorry, that was my stomach.. "
“Don’t worry about it, you should have eaten more, though.” Liam said, nudging her playfully.
(Night!)
Kate nodded, "Ah, yes and seeing the beautiful nature and the colors. Speaking of colors… what colors can you see?" She started kicking her legs up and down to swing herself.
"Um, not all of them." He said while trying to be subtle. He didn't want to tell someone he just met the colors he could see.
Keri smiled and nudged him back "Yeah, i didn't think i would end up talking to anyone so i didn't eat much, but this is pretty fun."
Sam continued on his walk, stopping only to gaze at the color seers. Music, i should listen to music. After all, music doesn't need color.
"Me too, I can only see 3 colors right now and I only have a year and a few months left. I know a person that can almost see every color, so lucky right?"
"Yea…" He said while remembering the memories of his parents. They were able to see every color and described them the best as they could to him and all he could do was just wish.
Kate swung higher as well, "And then there are people that can't develop color at all…" She paused and decided to keep quiet.
"I'm lucky to be able to see the few that I can already." He added while kicking his legs again.
Keri went silent for a while, waiting for liam to answer her, or to tell her what to do next.
