Spencer sat on a bench outside the home he lived in, staring at his palms. He didn't even know what his sister looked like, much less himself. Sure, he could recognise features, but not color.
He balled up his hands into fists, wanting to be furious or even sad he couldn't See a single darn color. Even pink would be good enough. He heard it was more of a girlish color, but wouldn't know.
At that moment, his younger sister, Julia came out and sat deliberately on top of his lap.
"You need to get out and have more interactions with people," she suggested with a soft grin. He supposed that she was light in skin tone like he was and had "brown" hair much like his own. Her eye color he couldn't place whatsoever. The young girl leaned her head back, double braids falling off her shoulder.
"Please?" she pleaded after a few moments of silence.
"I'll even come with you if you need," she added, tone a mixture of teasing and genuine concern. She had told him that she could see Orange, Yellow, and Pink. The positive traits for the most part. A secret part in Spencer's mind hoped she'd never see what Purple would represent.
Eventually he nodded, taking Julia off his lap and back onto the grass.
"Alright. We can head to the park I suppose for you to be able to have something to do too," he added with an imitation of a chuckle. It was beginning to sound more authentic after the practice.
The two began their trip to the park where most liked to socialize in their free time. Spencer just hoped this wasn't a bad idea. This was his sister after all.
keri woke up twisted in her blankets and immediately wanted to go back to sleep. she grumbled "stupid weekends" and sat up now fully awake, she rolled off of her bed, got dressed and left her blankets a ball at the end of her bed. she snuck down to the kitchen and scarfed down a apple for breakfast and was getting ready to open the front door when her mom poked her head through the doorway of the kitchen and said "where are you going?" keri nearly jumped to feet in the air and said "mom! jeese you scared me! i'm just going to go for a walk to the park and back, ok?" her mom replied "ok, just a quick question, how many colors can you see now?" "mom…, ill tell you later ok?" she responded as she walked out the door ready to forget like for a few minutes.
(Capitalization please!)
sry ok ill remember it next time
When Jordan walked out to his porch, the first thing he did was look up to the blue sky. It was the newest color that he was able to see and he wanted to absorb much of it. There was just one downside to it -the sadness and depression that came with it-. It was hard for him to have true fun especially after his parents died.
Kiera closed the door behind her and started her quiet and relaxing walk to the park, taking in the few colors that she had added to her color list, yellow, blue, and purple. She noticed the flowers and the bright yellow sun in the baby blue sky but just thinking about the colors made her head hurt. Whenever she "found" a new color it was a very painful process for her eyes, usually leaving her with a massive headache and only able to see gray for a few days afterwards.
Lucy was walking down the sidewalk of the small town area. She had made the impulsive decision to buy a kitten from a pet store. She knew absolutely nothing about cats, or pets in general, and she supposed that she could figure it out. Btu she just had to get the small kitten. It was a female, having fluffy grey fur and beautiful blue eyes. She held it in her arms, rather than put it in the small carrier she was given, as she walked into the park. She could take a shortcut through that area to get to her home.
As Kiera was walking she wasn't watching where she was going and was swerving back and forth on the small dirt trail from her house to the park. She was so lost in her daydream that she didn't see the girl coming towards her holding a small gray kitten.
Viva was seriously starting to wonder if there was a color for bitterness or spite, because she should have earned it by now. She huffed loudly as she left her apartment, paint in bag, and was walking to the park to work on a scenery assignment. She could only see blue, purple, and red, so they were the only paints she had. Her bag also had some charcoal, along with pencils. Somehow she had gotten all A's in her art class with her limited supplies and sight.
Liam sat under a tree, by himself as he gazed tiredly up at the blue sky. Blue, one of the two colours he could actually see. Blue and purple. After his sister and brother died and his parents left h hadn't really bothered to try and feel any other emotions, to try and see more colours. Which, in a world where that what you want to be doing, it mad Liam quite strange. He guessed it didn't matter anyway now, now that he was eighteen. So, he came out he to enjoy, kind of, the last dregs of freedom he had left.
Sam walked out of his house, his usual smile plastered on his face. This feels so fake, everyone knows i have no emotion. He thinks
Kate was already in the park, sitting on a bench. She was looking at the pink and orange colored flowers and smiled. "So pretty…" She whispered to herself. She was waiting for a friend to meet up with her at the park. He was supposed to meet up with Kate 25 minutes ago, but Kate still waited. Kate has a crush on her friend, so she's excited to hang out with him.
