“It’s fine, I won’t be able to give you much information but there are other people here, my… friends who could help if I’m not good enough.” Farron said.
“It’s fine, I won’t be able to give you much information but there are other people here, my… friends who could help if I’m not good enough.” Farron said.
"You're helping plenty so okay." She handed him the papers. "Mind reading it over and fixing my mistakes, I wasn't exactly taught to read or write, so I only guess and only go by what they sound like." She pulled her keens up to her chest and laid her chin on them. "Sad huh, I'm 17 and can't read or write." Mara smiled and just laughed it off. Out of place, that's definitely what she's feeling right now.
“It’s fine, some of the children who come here don’t learn to read until 14.” Farron explained, looking over her work and making some corrections.
"14 is still better then 17." Riven could tell and just feel that Mara was sad. Breaking eye contact with Ysethen, he made his way over to Mara and laid down next to her. Sure he wanted to try and communicate with the other dragon, but Mara was more important. Even though he messed with her, he didn't pick her for no reason. She wasn't afraid to be real, say what was on her mind, and her naiveness made her a bit different from others and he liked that.
“You’ll learn, don’t worry.” Farron reassured her.
"I hope so." She hated crying, so she always replaced it with a smile. Stop feeling sad, I don't like it. Riven set his head on her lap. "It's okay, I'm not sad." He knew she was lying, but decided not to say anything. "So how did I do?"
“Pretty good, actually.” Farron handed her back the paper with the corrections.
"Thank you. I might be asking for your help in the future." She said petting her dragons head. "Can dragons sense their person emotions?" She as curious to know if Riven could feel how she felt.
Farron shrugged, “I mean, your dragon can… I think.”
(god damn it, the storm took out my power and i missed all of this…)
(There are 2 places I think you could jump back in. Either interact with Quincy or maybe join Aurelius on patrol.)
"Interesting. So Ysethen doesn't?" She wrote on her paper again and laid back on top of Riven. He pulled pranks and is a little rude, but he is a good dragon, she couldn't ask for a different one. It was weird he could barely fly though, aren't all dragons supposed to fly?

(he'll join Aurelius)
Zuriel flew next to Nox "you seen anythin' as of yet Aurelius?" Arioch asked with a twinge of tiredness in his voice.
Aurelius whipped around, Nox still facing ahead.
"I might ask you the same," he replied, very soft and meek, "I was sent on patrol, alone."
He sensed the exhaustion in Arioch's voice and asked, "If they sent you to patrol here too, why don't you just go rest instead? I can take care of things here."
"we've handled worse, we can patrol." Zuriel quickly shook her head to try and shake the feelings of exhaustion "people patrolling alone is risky now a days, you can be shot out of the air and no one will know."
"I guess," Aurelius replied, "but it's not like we ever see anything. In my lifetime, I've only had to steer a mere seven people away from our village, and all of them were lost travelers."
Nox circled around to face Zuriel. She let out a few small, pleased noises at the sight of the other dragon.
"Nox, It's not time to play."
You're one to talk, Auri.
"Fair enough."
Lucky walked into the forest and fixed her hood. She walked to a plant and started breaking off a few branches. She felt eyes on her but when she go up to see who it was, she saw nothing but darkness. Shrugging the feeling off, she ventured further into the forest and picked a few other ingredients.
(Gtg sleep. It’s 11:37pm here and I have to wake up at 7 because we’re leaving tomorrow)
Aurelius caught glimpse of Lucky down below, and he carefully maneuvered Nox so that she was out of Lucky’s field of vision and hearing. He made a note to keep an eye on her and make sure she was doing okay. Maybe he could offer her a ride back since she didn’t have a dragon.
Lucky walked in deeper and heard something similar to heavy breathing “hello?” She asked
Aurelius looked down to where he'd seen Lucky earlier. She wasn't where he had last seen her.
"Dammit, I lost her," he snarled under his breath.
Nox lowered a few feet so they could both get a better look, but Aurelius figured she had gone deeper into the woods than he and Nox could see from the sky.
"Oh well… I wonder what she's doing all the way out here?" he muttered to himself.
Arioch looked down "who did you lose?" Zuriel got back onto Nox's level and Arioch leaned a little to get a better view of the ground.
"Lucky," Aurelius replied, "She's down in the forest. I was trying to keep half an eye on her to make sure everything was okay. I figured I'd let her ride back with me too, since she hasn't found her dragon yet. I don't see her anymore."
"Interesting. So Ysethen doesn't?" She wrote on her paper again and laid back on top of Riven. He pulled pranks and is a little rude, but he is a good dragon, she couldn't ask for a different one. It was weird he could barely fly though, aren't all dragons supposed to fly?
”Not that I know of. He’s just a big idiot who likes killing things and flying around.” Farron said, glaring at his dragon, “Myabe it’s because he’s a different species or he doesn’t want to know what I’m feeling, I’m unsure.”
"Oh lovely." he began to unhook himself from his saddle "if she's down in the forest looking for her dragon, we might have to help against dragon hunters."
"We're not that far out," Aurelius reassured him, "This is still protected territory."
Nox pulled ahead a little. Her great wingspan cast a shadow over the ground below. She slowly glided downwards, but the trees in this area were much more densely placed and hard to navigate.
"you do have a point there." Zuriel quickly followed Nox but quickly tucked her wings in and went through a hole in the trees but landed a little harder than expected.
"I like learning about them." She rubbed Riven's neck. "It's fun, and I can't wait to know more." Mara closed her eyes and left the sun warm her up, as she listened to the birds and Riven's breathing.
