"You had a panic attack, ran to the bathroom, and I assume passed out for 30 minutes. I left class, found you and now we're going to the nurses office where you are staying," Zanna said that last part as a command rather than an option.
"You had a panic attack, ran to the bathroom, and I assume passed out for 30 minutes. I left class, found you and now we're going to the nurses office where you are staying," Zanna said that last part as a command rather than an option.
"What? No I…" Then, it clicked. "Oh my god… I did it again! I'm so sorry…"
"It's fine," Zanna sighed. His parents really messed him up, "Just don't waste to much energy. Okay?"
Jay nodded, laying his head back down. He hated when this happened. He didn't always pass out, but when he did the teachers just assumed he was skipping class again, whether or not he even felt capable of coming back.
"Also, do you mind telling me where the nurses office is?" Zanna asked sheepishly.
"T-take a left from here… second door on your right…"
"Thanks," she entered the nurses office. Let Jay down on to the bed and just leaned back on one of the chairs there.
Jay lay limply on the cot, exhausted. The nurse checked him over for injuries, pausing when she found bruises on his head and arms. "Jay?" He turned his head towards her. "How did you get these bruises?" Jay tensed up, mortified. She had found the bruises left by his parents. "They… t-they're nothing… d-don't worry about it…"
A big kid walked by Aita's table, sneering. "Who do we have here?" he leaned down, spitting in Aita's face, "Fresh meat?"
Aita cocked his head, "This is a sandwich, not fresh meat? I'm Aita! Nice to meet you." he stuck out his unhandcuffed hand.
The boy leered at him, "Aita? The murderer? You look harmless." he pulled at the stitch near the corner of Aita's eye. "I thought you were supposed to be cool and scary."
The nurse looked like she was about to keep asking when Zanna said, "Seriously don't lady."
They glared over at the nurse. She saw the glare and closed her mouth.
This boy was starting to get on Aita's nerves. Aita looked towards his briefcase, longing to have it in his arms again. The boy saw Aita glance at the briefcase and kicked it away from Aita, smirking.
"A briefcase? Seriously?"
That set Aita off. Two minutes later, Aita was sitting on top of the boy, who was bleeding and had some broken bones. Nearby, Aita's handcuffs laid broken on the table. He brushed himself off and grabbed his briefcase, walking out of the lunchroom.
Jay looked over at Zanna gratefully and waited for his sentence. "Well, considering there's only about an hour or so left of school, I want you to stay here at least until school ends, okay, Jay?" He nodded, laying his head back down. He didn't like being confined to the office, there was nothing for him to do to help with his anxiety if he needed to.
"Hey," Zanna looked over at Jay, "I'm staying here too. So it'll be okay."
"But don't you have to go to class?" Jay pushed himself into a sitting position, wincing slightly.
"Yeah, but no one can make me go," Zanna shrugged, "And if they do I'll punch them."
Zanna looked over at the nurse who shrunk underneath her desk. Zanna smiled at that.
Jay seemed skeptical, but he didn't question it, rubbing the back of his head absently. He was a frequent visitor at the nurse's office, and he was sure the nurse was sick of seeing him all the time. (I probably gtg to bed now. I might be able to post one more time before I go tho)
(That's fine I should be heading off to. Night.)
Morrigan peeked inside the room. “Hey. You okay now?”
"Oh, hey Morrigan. The nurse wants me here for the rest of the day, so I don't really know."
"You can stay here with us if you want," Zanna told Morigan.
“Hell yeah.” Morrigan slipped in. “Do you feel better at least?”
Jay nodded. "A bit sore and exhausted, but otherwise fine."
“Are you in imminent danger of passing out or having a panic attack?”
"Um, not right now?"
“I would hope so,” Zanna responded.
