He stared into her eyes. The situation was surreal, though he planned to keep it that way. Craziness was okay sometimes.
"I do too, Brooke," he smiled, red rushing to his face.

Brooke blinked a couple of times, her mouth opening and closing as her brain struggled to find words. Eventually, she just let out a heavy breath and muttered, "Oh thank goodness. I thought I would absolutely die if you didn't."

"I didn't think you felt the same way in the closet, which is why I established how we were friends. I-I guess mixed signals were happening everywhere, huh?" Jake confessed, laughing a little at how they unintentionally danced away from each other.

"Yeah," Brooke laughed. "That…was pretty bad, wasn't it?"

"At least it's out in the open now," he sighed in relief. But now that it was, what did that mean?

Brooke hummed in response, leaning back in her seat again to look up at the night sky. After a moment of silence, she quietly asked, "So… What now?"

"I don't know," he answered honestly. "We could… become more than what we are now. I-If you want to, o-of course."

"I– I'd like that," Brooke whispered, looking back over at Jake. A small smile had pulled up the corners of her lips, and her blush had died down just a little.

He cleared his throat, his confidence rising up. "Brooke, would you be my girlfriend? I can't offer any jewels or things like they make it out in books, but I can give you my heart. I know that sounded cheesy, I meant it to be that way."

(XD Lol. That was adorable to read. Literally, I can't stop smiling. This is more fluffy than when one of my other RP ships started dating!)

Brooke bit her lip and nodded, her smile growing. "Yeah. Yeah, Jake, I'll be your girlfriend," she said softly.

He leaned over and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "Excellent. The plan is set in motion. Next I need to take you to a pizza parlor and you'll love me forever," he joked around.

"Shut up," Brooke laughed, swatting at him playfully. "I'll love you forever anyway."

Jacob's heart accelerated. "And I as well," he whispered, leaning his head on hers.

(Awwwwww! Yay for fluffy-stuff!)

Brooke shifted a smidge closer to Jacob, leaning against him. This was nice. Like, really, really nice.

"Good," she whispered back.

"Do you mind if I kiss you? I might corrupt you, you never know." He let his knuckles brush her shoulder, before resting in her pink hair.

"Not– Not at all," Brooke stuttered softly, the redness on her cheeks deepening a bit.

Jake smiled softly, gazing at his partner. Finally, he leaned forward and pressed his lips to her gently.

Brooke's eyes fluttered closed as she kissed him back. Finally. Finally, he was hers. She was his. They were each others'.

(Me too honestly I have to answer my mom so many times a day as to why I am squealing.
I dunno about you but Jessie or something should go looking for them and then find them kissing each other outside lol)

He remained in blissful content, rubbing the back of her head as he kissed her.

(Lol. She would find them, too. And then be all excited and fangirl about it forever.)

Brooke let her arms wrap around Jake's neck, pulling him slightly closer. Her happiness was cut short, though, when she heard an excited squeal. She reluctantly pulled away and turned to see who had interrupted them.

Jessie. Some friend she was.

(She's probably shipped them so hard for so long.)

His neck colored, noticing Jessie finally. "How long have you been here?"

(Oh, totally! Since, like, they started being friends!
Don't be surprised if I randomly disappear. My stepdad turns the WIFI off at night.)

Jessie grinned widely. "Oh, just about… the entire, freaking time! That speech was beautiful, by the way!"

The red on Brooke's cheeks darkened, and she looked down.

(K got it)

"It was?" he brightened a little, despite the interruption. Jake blurted it out randomly, so he was happy to see it was good and not lame.

"Oh, yes. Lovely. Spectacular job!" Jessie exclaimed. She crinkled her nose a bit, having a thought. "I suppose you guys might want to be alone for a bit, then… I'm not heartless, you know. I won't make you come back inside. Even though it is my party," she muttered the last part under her breath.

"Well what do you want to do?" he glanced at Brooke. His girlfriend. His girlfriend. His girlfriend!
