Claira coughed. "Victoria, we must get you dressed. Xavier, could I speak to you later?"
Claira coughed. "Victoria, we must get you dressed. Xavier, could I speak to you later?"
"May I view the dress? I'm sure it looks lovely," Ruby replied, standing up and walking over to the closet.
"Erm, yes, I suppose I should get dressed." Victoria said.
"The dress the queen will be wearing? Of course you may, Ruby." Claira opened the closet and revealed a gorgeous light teal gown with lace detailing and real silver accessories.
"Of course!" He stood and bowed. "I'll wait in the garden." He walked out and headed to his room. Who knows how long they will be and a book would be nice and reading in the garden was always so relaxing.
"Oh, that's gorgeous! I'm not even sure if my coronation dress was that lovely! I might have to move back here just so that I can have you as a designer, Claria!" Ruby smiled and laughed. "Now, I wouldn't want to invade the queen's privacy, so I'll be joining Xavier in the garden. When you're finished we can all take a stroll."
"She does know that's not the coronation dress, right?" Claira whispered.
Claira helped Victoria into her dress, curled her hair and applied her makeup.
"There ma'am, you're ready to go! I must go meet with Xavier. Anything else I may help you with?"
Xavier was sitting under the beautiful white gazebo that was surrounded by flowers. The grass was green and the weather was wonderful. It was the perfect day for a read outside. Xavier had to wear reading glass for him to see the book better, it was a good book.
Claira rushed into the garden. "Xavier!"
The voice caught him off guard and he jumped a little. "Claira." A smile appeared on his face and he set his book down. "How may I help you?"
Victoria walked out of the dressing room, deciding to find Ruby.
Claira felt her cheeks flush. "I just wanted to inform you that your behavior today has been completely inappropriate."
"Its so warm today, I wonder where this this chill is coming from?" He laid his head on his fist and raised an eyebrow at her.
She frowned. "What book is that?"
He wasn't sure actually he just found it in his room and grabbed it. Turning it over he checked the title "Of mice and men. I just found it sitting in my room." She needed to relax at some point and take a break. "Why don't you sit." He used his other hand and gestured to the seat across from him. "It wouldn't hurt to take a break."
"Oh, I'm not…" Claira began to complain, but there was no denying that she was tired. She plopped down next to him.
"Will you be dressing up for the ball?" He was definitely going to make her dance with him this time. Every ball before this she has turned him down, but this time he had a good feeling about it.
"Yes, obviously. What will you be wearing? I could always design something for you… Seeing as your personal sense of style is nonexistent."

He looked down at his clothes. There was no need to dress up fancy on a every day occasion. "So, you'll be taking my measurements? I wouldn't mind that." He leaned back in the chair and crossed his arms, he teased. Xavier had his own designers, he just chose not to use them often.
Claira gasped. "Well, I…" her voice trailed off.
