(oh…so the ball hasn't happened, correct?)

(Correct.)
"What color roses do you prefer, my dear friends? It's lime for me - yes, it seems strange, but it looks beautiful with peonies and lavender." Ruby sparked a conversation in the silence.
"I like black ones." Xavier walked her to the gazebo and let her sit before himself. "I'm glad you like it, the landscaper work hard to keep it looking this good." He sat across from her.
Andion managed to finish the papers he had on his desk and quickly packed them away. Having nothing else to do, he grabbed a book and started to read.
"Ah, black, is that so? How unique! Some might say strange, but I say unique…" Ruby sighed happily. "How's life in the castle, my dear Victorie? I haven't seen you in one since we were eight and mother and I moved!"
Elliot went to go talk to Andion
Xavier, really needed to get back. The planning was still going on and now he had to talk to Andion. "Well." Xavier pushed himself up and smiled. "It was nice seeing you again Ruby, but I must get back. Lots to do." He kissed her cheek before leaving. As soon as they were out of sight he slumped against the wall. "I'm tired." The wind felt nice and it was shaded right here, honestly, he could lay down and fall asleep here. He continued walking though. First he'll head to Andion and talk to him, then go finish preparing the ballroom.
Ruby looked to the others. "Isn't it just lovely having him in the castle with you all the time? He's so charming! What with all this, mother and I might just have to move in!" She laughed, waving a gloved hand.
Andion crossed one leg over the other as he read, enjoying the relaxation of being alone for a while and not having to work.
(idk what to do right now lol)
(Same, nothing seems to be going on)
Xavier knocked on Andion's door. He was never to busy for his best friend. "Andion, you there?" Xavier waited outside his door till he answered. There was so much he had to tell him.
“Yes, Xavier. Come in.” He responded, not looking up from his book just yet.
The door bust open and Xavier had a huge smile on his face. "I have Great new." He sat in his normal chair he had in Andion's office. "Well, good for me. And I need to talk to you."
Andion put the book down and crossed his arms, “What is it you need to talk about?”
"You remember Elliot, Tori's bestfriend." He would hate it if he couldn't help Elliot, but it was up to Andion. "He was wondering if you could spare two or three guards to follow Tori, for protection."
“Why couldn’t he come see me himself? You doing his boring jobs now, Xavier?” Andion raised an eyebrow and stood from his chair, grabbing his sword and swinging it a few times.
"He's still young, so he might be intimidated by you." Andion was still so good and Xavier was in awe everytime he pulled out his sword. "I mean I would be, if I was him."
“Intimidated? Why would he be intimidated?” Andion asked, confused. He stopping swinging his sword for a few moments as he looked over at Xavier but continued shortly after
"You're an intimidating man. Tall, strong and the best swords men in the guard." Xavier rested his feet on Andion's desk. "Who wouldn't be intimidated?" Plus super scary when he's mad, but Xavier will keep that part to himself.
“Do you k is where I can find Andion?” Elliot asked a passerby.
Andion shrugged, “No clue, and yes I have to be the best swordsman as I’m the leader.” He replied, smirking
"Anyway do you want to hear my good news?" Xavier's face lot up at the thought of Him and Claira going to the ball together. After all these years of him asking, she finally said yes. And andion was the one who always had to listen to Xavier talk about her.
