"Oh, very well. A small little dust storm here and there, but your weather conditions aren't half as bad as mine!" The other queen waved her hand and sat down. "So, how is everything here, Victorie? And who's this?" She smiled at Claria.
He always thought Claira was beautiful, she was easy to mess with as well.
(Okay, I know we were getting back to the actual rping, but can this be a ship XD?)
(I don't mind.)
(I'm not doing much shipping for Victoria just yet, she's very much the Hard-To-Get type lmao.)
"This is Claira. She is my personal attendant." Victoria said, a little surprised from the hug.

(As queens should be :3 I think Claira is like that, too, but if she likes someone, I think she's somewhat vulnerable.)
"A pleasure to meet you, miss."
"Why hello, Claria. I'm afraid I couldn't bring any of mine, but I'm sure your guards will keep me safe." Ruby shook her blonde waves and braids. "Now, Victorie dear, how has life been here since I left for my country? How have you handled poor father?" Hands in her lap, the other queen struck up some conversation.
(What happened to the mom?)
(I dunno, so far the mother is a side character but I guess if someone wanted to be her they could, honestly I think the mother will be generally ignored for now.) "I would rather not discuss it as of now. Papa's death is a subject that I am afraid I simply cannot talk about at the moment." Victoria said.
Claira busied herself preparing the queen's dress for the day, a harder task than one may imagine. Not a single wrinkle was allowed, nor a missing pleat or a defective button. Memories of Georgie crept into her mind, and she shook them off.
"That's quite alright, Victorie. I would feel the same if I was as close to him as you are. How're politics? Ah, I know you despise them, so I'll rephrase it: How popular are you? I could send you a good word for your people if you like."
"I only just became queen, I haven't even had the coronation ceremony yet." she said.
"I think silver is a beautiful color." Xavier suggested. He didn't want anything that popped out to much. They showed him many China sets as he sat in a chair and watch everything around him. A maid came up from behind and whispered something in his ear. "I see." Xavier stood and put his hand in the air and every stopped. "Take a break, you all deserve it." Stares filled the room and whispers were all around. It was strange for them to get breaks. Xavier was a strange man though. "I'll be back soon."
Claira's head snapped up. "Oh!" she exclaimed. "I am ever so sorry, your highnesses. I will be right back."
Claira rushed through the halls, off to the sewing room. Another maid was inside. "Has the fabric come in?!?" she asked frantically. The maid shook her head.
"Wait… What?"
"The fabric for her dress isn't here yet," the other maid replied.
"No… But-" Claira tried to ask another question, but the maid simply left the room. Claira sunk to the floor. She was supposed to make the (soon-to-be) queen's coronation gown by hand, and the fabric hadn't arrived yet. Would there be enough time?!?
"I wonder what that was all about? Anyway, I'll be sure to have a front row seat at your coronation." Ruby gushed, very Gwen-like.
Beat, Claira walked into the garden with a sheet of papyrus and a pencil. She began to sketch a design for the queen's coronation gown, along with an outline of what she planned to wear herself.
"Cousin Ruby." Xavier threw his arms open as he walked into the room. "How have you been?" He definitely interrupted something. He hadn't seen Cousin Ruby in a while. He pulled a chair up and sat down.
"Why, XAVIER! How nice it is to see you! Oh, the nostalgia!" Ruby clapped her hands together. "What about you? How have you been since I saw you last?"
"And also, may we have some biscuits? I'm starved of them!" Ruby addressed Claria.
Claira set down her materials and hurried back inside to dress the queen. To her surprise, Xavier was in the dressing room with Ruby and Victoria!
"Of course!" Claira replied. On the way out, she glared at Xavier.
"I've been well. And you, how is leading a whole country?" Something he would never get to do. He longed for that, most people think he's not serious enough to rule. It was nice having another family member here and another especially Ruby, she was like a second mother.
Claira returned with the biscuits.
It was proper etiquette to address everyone in the room, so she did; "Ma'am Victoria. Ma'am Ruby. Xavier."
As she passed him, she whispered, "a man in a lady's dressing room. Completely inappropriate."
He smiled and took a bite of the biscuit. "Would it be okay if we moved somewhere else to talk." He looked around the the room. "I feel a chill in here." Xavier rubbed his arms overdramaticly and took a quick side glance at Claira. "The garden is beautiful and I'm sure you would love it Ruby."
"Thank you, Claria. Now, I've been alright. Just filled about a million potholes for the public - no, I wasn't kidding," She replied, seeing Xavier's strange face - of course, it wasn't caused by Ruby's comment.
"Would I? I do love roses, perhaps we'll all go and talk there?"
