Kenzie kissed Hunter back for a moment but pulled back again not long after. She still looked concerned, and she was. Something just didn't feel right. Like… Like Hunter was worried or confused or something…
"You didn't answer me," she murmured, her gaze flicking across his face as she tried to figure out his emotions. "What's wrong?"
Hunter only smiled, cupping her cheek softly.
"Don't worry about it," he said softly. "It's cool. I'm cool. Just a little, you know, tired."
"If you say so," Kenzie whispered, leaning into his hand and closing her eyes. "Maybe I should leave so you can sleep, then…"
Hunter tightened his hold on her.
"No," he said tightly, a voice that held no argument. "Stay."
Resting her head on his chest again and keeping her eyes closed, Kenzie whispered, "Okay."

(No worries xD)
Hunter's eyes slowly closed and his breathing evened. With Kenzie in his arms, Hunter felt complete, like she was meant to be there. Slowly, he descended into his darkness.
After a while, Kenzie noticed Hunter's breathing had slowed. She lifted her head and looked at his face. He looked happy, and a small smile played on his lips as he slept. With a smile of her own, she laid her head back down and closed her eyes again, drifting into sleep not long afterward.
When Hunter woke up, he felt a weight on him. At first, he was confused, but then he remembered. Kenzie. Opening his eyes, he confirmed that it was indeed Kenzie.
He looked at her, at her soft features, the small smile on her lips, and the peaceful expression that she wore. His own lips twisted up into a smile. She was… perfect. And she was his.
Kenzie woke up slowly, blinking a couple of times in confusion. When she fully opened her eyes, she saw Hunter looking at her and remembered where she was and what she'd been doing. She blushed and moved to get up.
(I have to go in about 15 minutes, and then I'll be gone for 1 to 2.5 hours or something.)

(It's okay! I'll be pretty busy, too)
"Getting off so soon?" Hunter teased. "You looked like you were having the best sleep of your life."
Kenzie blushed harder.
"I didn't mean to fall asleep," she mumbled, avoiding Hunter's eyes as her mind raged a war with itself.
Stupid… You technically just slept with him; what were you thinking? How could you let that happen?
Yeah, but we didn't do anything! We were just sleeping.
You should've gotten off of him when he flipped you.

(Kenzie's reaction to all of this is so cute X3)
(Oh, gosh. She's so conflicted with herself!)
(Oh, gosh. She's so conflicted with herself!)
(I know, it's so adorable tho!)
Hunter shrugged.
"Sleep must be contagious," he said, loosening his hold on her, expecting her to get off. "Anyway, it's getting late, so-" he was cut off with his phone ringing. Sighing, he sat up slowly, making sure to keep Kenzie from falling off since he didn't give her enough time to get off on her own. He reached back to the table beside the couch and grabbed his phone, but when he checked the caller ID, his face darkened. He let it fall on the table, not caring if it fell off or broke. His apartment was carpeted, anyway.

(Hunter, look at what you're doing!)
(cough-cough She sat on the couch… cough-cough)

(Ya know what? I'm gonna say she didn't and take it out of my post. I like your post.)

"Who was that?" Kenzie asked, looking concerned.
“Nobody of importance,” Hunter answered coldly, but then regretted the tone of his voice. Kenzie didn’t deserve this. “Anyway, as I was saying, you should head home. Unless you wanna spend the night here.”
(Lol. They slept through lunch?)
(back to Muna momentarily)
"Um… sounds like you got a text. Maybe you should answer it?" Luna asked Matthew looking over at him.
Jasmine stared at her phone, awaiting his reply anxiously. Eventually, she decided to just do something else. She pulled out her makeup pallet and started adjusting her mascara and eyeliner. Ya know, for fun. She smiled at herself in the mirror and did a playful wink.
(Jasmine and I have some in common but so many differences.)
