Kenzie breathed hard, her cheeks flushed and eyes wide. When she had caught her breath, she wrapped her arms around Hunter's neck and reached up to place a light kiss on his lips.

"There," she said with a grin after she pulled away. "I kissed you. Happy?"

Hunter grinned.
"Extremely," he replied, laying down on top of her with a grin, his eyes closing. "Mm, I'm tired…"

"Gah! Get off me, you!" Kenzie exclaimed, laughing as she swatted at him. She complained, groaning, "You're heavy!"

“But you’re comfortable,” Hunter whined. “But maybe…” he flipped their position with Kenzie being on top of him. He shot her a lazy smirk. “Maybe you’ll enjoy this position more.”

Kenzie blushed a ridiculously bright shade of red at the position she was now in, and her eyes widened.

He's just teasing you. He's not being serious about this. Don't freak out, she thought to herself, her blush fading a little bit.

She laid her head on Hunter's chest and let out a deep sigh.

"You drive me crazy, sometimes, you know that?" she muttered into his shirt.

She laid her head on Hunter's chest and let out a deep sigh.

"You drive me crazy, sometimes, you know that?" she muttered into his shirt.

Hunter simply held her, his hand running through her hair slowly and softly. He took a deep breath.
“I hope I’m the only one,” he murmured. “I want to be the only one to drive you crazy like this. Don’t let any other man touch you like this, Kenzie. You’re mine. I won’t hand you over to anyone else.”

“I hope I’m the only one,” he murmured. “I want to be the only one to drive you crazy like this. Don’t let any other man touch you like this, Kenzie. You’re mine. I won’t hand you over to anyone else.”

Hunter pulled her towards him tighter, melting into the kiss with his hand at the back of her head. He loved kissing Kenzie. He knew that he would never get tired of her. Not of her sparkling eyes, her contagious smile, her beautiful laughter…
God… I love this woman…

Kenzie felt Hunter tense beneath her and pulled back gently. She looked at him, concern in her eyes.

"Babe? Something wrong?" she asked, the corners of her lips pulled down into a slight frown.

Hunter forced a smile on his face, pulling Kenzie into another kiss without giving her an opportunity to say something.
Did he really think that…? Did he really… love… Kenzie?

Kenzie kissed Hunter back for a moment but pulled back again not long after. She still looked concerned, and she was. Something just didn't feel right. Like… Like Hunter was worried or confused or something…

"You didn't answer me," she murmured, her gaze flicking across his face as she tried to figure out his emotions. "What's wrong?"
