Kenzie blushed and looked away. "Well, I'm up now. Do you want to make something together?" she asked, her voice quiet from being flustered.
"Sure, but no food wars," Hunter poked her nose. "You'll lose."

Kenzie blushed and looked away. "Well, I'm up now. Do you want to make something together?" she asked, her voice quiet from being flustered.
"Sure, but no food wars," Hunter poked her nose. "You'll lose."
Kenzie scrunched her nose when Hunter poked it, then smiled as she untangled herself from him and got out of the bed. "Okay, no food wars," she agreed. "But I'd totally win if we did."

Kenzie had already gotten eggs out of the fridge. Now she was just looking for a pot to scramble them in, humming quietly while she did so. She didn't notice Hunter walk in, so she continued what she was doing.
