Squrrelstar peeled her eyes away from the dark blue sky, the worry in her chest slowly leaving after seeing the clouds swiftly pass the moon and disappear farther into the night sky. The RiverClan leader gazed down at the island below to see the other clans mingling, though it was seeming to die down quite a bit.
After a few moments, Squirrelstar sighed, twitching her tail. "Well, I do believe that it's time to leave." She noticed the other leaders looking up at her. "It's quite late and I'm supposed to be on a hunting patrol at dawn." She forced a yawn. "It was lovely to see you all again. 'Can't wait to hear what happens at the next gathering." she purred quietly as she gazed down at the other leaders, (especially Swiftstar <33,) stretching her neck and making her slightly taller than before.
With that, she yowled for RiverClan to gather and that it was time to go home, ending the gathering as well. The thick-pelted, ginger molly thanked and wished everyone safe travel on their way back home.
Squirrelstar then crouched at the edge of the tree branch she and the other leaders were sitting on, she leaped down first, landing gracefully on her big paws.
She nodded at the deputies who sat between the knotted roots of the tree as her own deputy, Silversong, padded to walk beside her. The silver pelted molly looked exactly like her mother who was the deputy before her. The deputies respectfully nodded back at Squirrelstar as she turned away.
RiverClan gathered behind her, all chatting excitedly as they exited the island and walked over the tree bridge, the lake underneath the thick oak bridge flowed gently and quietly. Some of the small ripples turning a bright silver under the glare of the moon.
Bleh- hopefully this is good- it's almost midnight here (11:48 pm) and I'm tired Happy (late?) Easter everyone <33 and if you don't celebrate then— uh, Happy Sunday LMAO //
Good Night <33 //
bump? //
(Herro! ^w^)
Mistpaw looked up. "Well, we've got to go now." She turned to Shadowpaw and Adderpaw. "I guess we'll see you around?"
Swiftstar mewed a goodbye to the other leaders and yowled for her clan. She landed neatly at the base of the tree and moved towards the bridge, Stormcloud trailing behind her. She brushed up against Springheart as they walked out. "That was nervewracking." She said in a low voice.
Fawnstar waited for a moment for the moor running clan to leave. He scanned the crowd of WindClan warriors for Hawkwillow, spotting him next to his brother in the middle of the group. The tall tom suddenly realised he was sitting alone with Shadowstar and awkwardly, and hurriedly, hopped out of the tree.
Vixenpaw didn't want to say goodbye to Koipaw and the RiverClan apprentices but had to as they left to follow their mentors back to their own territory. The large ginger cat made his way back to his friends as they themselves followed their mentors across the fallen tree. "That went well." He said bluntly.
