The heat didn't bother him, he was used to the heat of the forge and liked the heat. He saw the way the light bounced off of her skin and couldn't help but stare again. Her laugh was soothing to his ears.

Amelia started swinging her feet back and forth. The tip of her toes brushed against the gravel and dirt.

He couldn't help but continue staring, the light danced off of her clear skin made- he looked away a bit embarssed he had been looking for as long as he had. He tried to focus on the stage.

The loud hum of chatter could be heard from behind the stage curtain where Dove now stood. Dinner had ended, and most of the campers were now sitting in the amphitheater. The show would start any minute now.
Dove stood in the Soprano section, so if you looked at her, she would be at the far left of the choir. Her other choir members whispered to each other, their worries and anticipations seemed to wrap themselves around them all. But Dove‘s mind went briefly to her friends. She’d had a chance to talk to Wendi earlier, and the conversation was mostly what her peers were talking about now. Dove was excited to see her use the Mist and make all that practice worth it. And Ash… he could be anywhere in the audience. Well, he may be most likely sitting the in back or off to side somewhere. I wonder what he’s thinking…
Then Jonah shushed them down. On the other side of curtain, to thunderous applause, Avery Sherwood walked up onstage, along with Henri Way, the head counselor for the Athena cabin. Avery held a megaphone in her hand.
“Alright, alright campers! How are ya doing tonight?”

Nick stood in the back of the amphitheater, leaning against a pole. He wasn't big about aboyt being in a big group singing campfire songs but he didn't mind watching from a far. All he knew for tonight though, is that the Apollo children had a surprise. That could only mean something over the top.
