(Uhhh idk)
Marx sighed. "I don't blame you honestly. I'm afraid we might get dehydrated if we're not careful."
He reached for his water bottle, which was less than a quarter full at this point.

(How about after like three more postings?)
AJ nodded "yeah, besides, we need to stock up on rations, ammunition, and also need a base of sorts"
(I'm back with wifi now after a 12 hour drive hooray!)
Keenan who had just been following along in the conversation until this point decided to check what kind of supplies he had left. No more water but he had a few energy bars left, despite his hunger he put them back in his back deciding it was best to save them. He checked his ammo which was running scarcely low. "I'm running low on supplies as well." He commented.
"Wait a minute…" Persephone looked at the street then grabbed a map out of her backpack. "We're not far from Pepperdine University. We could try there. It might be over run, but I think we could handle it."
(Hello?)
"It's worth a shot." Keenan answered, putting the rest of his supplies in its place.
"Cool, it's this way." Persephone hands the map to Marx and turns left, continuing to head straight.
AJ looked surprised "shouldnt that place be filled with zombies? If that's the case then why arent they running on the streets?" She asked
“We can try,” Marx agreed, “but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t carefully scope it out first.”
"Well yeah. It could be over run, but then again, it's a college. How many people got into those before the apocalypse?" Persephone jokes.
AJ laughed and started jogging, "hurry up guys, I think I see it up ahead." She called over her shoulder before running faster towards it, throwing a dagger at an Infected and grabbing the dagger once she passed it.
"Too much running." Persephone mutters as she races to catch up.
"Stop!" A sudden voice yells out, and about twelve snipers aim at the group.
AJ skids to a stop, almost falling on her face. "…fuck" she cursed and took out her gun, constantly moving it left and right
"Turn around and go back where you came from!" A voice orders.
"Or meet your end!" Another adds.
"Welp, you heard them." Persephone turns on her heel and starts to walk away.
AJ looked at Persephone incredulously "yeah right, we aren't trespassing on any property considering that after the outbreak, everything was free to walk upon."
Persephone freezes. "AJ, they have guns." She says, "Big guns."
"We have guns too and we need supplies. I'm not budging. Unless one of them is a zombie, obvioulsy"
"Go away!" One of the men yells, "We will shoot you!"
"Wow, what an ass," Marx murmured, running a hand through his hair, "We're all people here. I don't see why we can't be allies, or at least be allowed passage. Don't you want the human race to survive? Our species won't see the light of day if people decide to just snipe anyone who gets too close."
He paused for a moment, then with a biting hostility, continued, "But then again, maybe we should just move along. After all, we don't want this dumbass' genes in the gene pool. No point in offering any alliance to someone who doesn't even instinctively want the species to live."
Marx was not intent on leaving- just finding another way past if possible. They at least needed somewhere to crash temporarily. He made sure his gun was within reach, but he kept both hands well away from it.
"We don't wanna hurt you!" Persephone yells, "Put the guns down, let's just talk!"
(Ahem.)
(Not gonna let this die folks.)
(Idk what to do though)
(Me neither)
“Yeah,” Marx snapped, “Let’s talk. Do you just shoot anyone who comes by? Bad manners, don’t you think? We’re just looking for supplies and shelter, same as anyone else.”
